To be like Him or not to be,
The struggle is deep
With a sunken spirit, I sink
I perceived my doom, just beneath. To take the risk or not to,
I love it but He doesn't
He's holding my hand, I let Him
Severing the ties will cause me grief. To let go or hold on,
He's helpful, I'm helpless,
He wants me, I should need Him
But I'm stuck between thoughts. To think it over, or not to
He's just in front, holding on
He's knocking, I don't respond
I hear Him, clearly before, now vague
I'm drifting off, alone in my own thoughts.
