"I know you're afraid," Aristotle said, drinking a beer with me. "Somerca is serious about your relationship status. I know she will have doubts about your actions."

I smiled bitterly. I'm just looking at the ice inside the glass. Pinapaikot ko lang 'yon gamit ang daliri. I also wondered what would be the reaction of Ate Somerca if she found out Limwell is my boyfriend.

"You have to be more careful," he warned me, "Alam natin lahat na ang gusto ni Somerca ay ang boyfriend mo. I couldn't imagine the fall of Somerca Estacio." and then he laughed.

"I don't know what to do. If she finds out about this she will probably tell Tita Almeria and we all know how strict Tita is when it comes to relationships." I smirked and drank the beer straight.

He laughed, "Sainyo lang siya ganiyan dahil babae kayo. She's protecting you from heartaches. I understand her,"

I nodded my head. "Kahit ganoon, malaki ang utang na loob ko kay Tita. I don't want to disappoint her."

Naging seryoso ang tingin ni Aristotle. Tila may malalim siyang iniisip. Uminom siya ng isang baso ng beer bago tumingin muli sa'kin.

"Always have a good fight, Yries. Hindi puwedeng sunod ka lang ng sunod sa mga Estacio. You are a Macalia and we have our own decision. Hindi lagi nakadepende sa kanila."

This is what I want from Aristotle. When it comes from my greatest downfall he always gets my back. I also owe Marcus from saving me, I know he's trying to protect me too.

"You two looked too serious." Marcus popped in front of us. May hawak siya na isang bote sa kamay.

"I'm just trying to advise her," Aristotle said. Pinaupo si Marcus sa kaniyang tabi. I wondered where Isabelle was.

"Is this about Somerca?" Marcus is way more serious than Aristotle.

I nodded, "I'm afraid, paano kapag nalaman ng Estacio ang pakikipag relasyon ko?" I laughed bitterly.

"I still believe that if it wasn't Limwell, you have the chance that they will allow you to have a relationship. Pero si Somerca, nagustuhan ang boyfriend mo. Alam mo naman na walang bagay ang hindi niya nakukuha." Marcus said, while snapping his fingers.

Kaya ako natatakot dahil doon. Gagawin lahat ni Ate Somerca para makuha ang gusto niya at 'yun ang kinakatakot ko. She might steal Limwell from me. Hindi naman ako papayag. I will fight for my love.

"Yries," Aristotle called me, "I know Limwell loves you. Hindi siya basta-basta makukuha ni Somerca." pagpapagaan niya sa loob ko.

I nodded, "I know." And I trust him.

"Somerca flew to Canada a while ago. Tita Almeria called her. Pinaayos yata ang business na tinatayo nila doon." Balita samin ni Marcus.

Namilog ang mga mata ko. Does it mean I have temporary freedom? Puwede kaming lumabas ni Limwell na hindi inaalala ang tao sa paligid?

"For how many days?" Aristotle asked Marcus.

"I don't know... for a month?" He shrugged his shoulders, "I'm not sure about it. I will try to ask Tita Almeria later,"

A ghost smile flashed on my lips. Naginhawaan ang puso ko sa narinig kong balita. Mabuti na lang at si Ate Somerca ang pinadala sa Canada kaya may chance na makasama ko si Limwell na komportable ako sa paligid.

"Nasaan pala si Isabelle?" I asked them. I scanned the whole place but I did not see any shadow of her.

"As usual," Aristotle said, "Parties with her friends."
