Chapter 01

The noisiness of my family outside is still heard even if I'm inside of our house. I closed my eyes and relaxed myself on the sofa. I pressed my hands together dramatically.
"Donya Almeria! I missed you!" I heard Tito Romeo hissed.
"Don't lie to me, Romeo!" Donya Almeria yelled. "Still no."
"I'm not lying to my dear sister!" Tito Romeo defended himself. "Just this once?"
I dramatically shook my head. Their age was on the right, patanda nga sila. They are popular for being an Estacio.
"Shut up, Romeo!" She hissed.
I'm pretty sure.
I heavily sighed. I'm so tired for this day. I did nothing but still... I haven't eaten my breakfast and lunch.
This week, my schedule is full. I don't have enough space for other things. I went to Palawan this week to make some memories together with my cousins - Ate Somerca, Aristotle, Marcus and Isabelle.
Ate Somerca, transferred to Manila one year ago kaya minsan kapag wala akong kausap sa Isla Delavella ay si Ate Somerca ang pinupuntahan ko. Aristotle went on vacation, too.
I heard someone walking through my direction but I still left my eyes closed and did not mind it.
"Bakit hindi ka nakikisali sa kanila, Yries?" Qwin Macalia asked me.
It's Tita Qwin. She's my Daddy Simoun's youngest sister. Qwinera Macalia.
I slowly opened my eyes and shrugged my shoulders. "I'm tired. I don't think I can communicate with them, Tita Qwin."
She raised her left eyebrow and plopped down beside me. She sips an orange juice. I just noticed it now, she's holding two glasses of juice.
"You can rest in your room. Your Tita's and Tito's are noisy. Hindi ka makakapagpahinga ng maayos dito."
I tried to sit properly. Inabutan niya ako ng orange juice. I accepted it as soon as possible. I sipped. My head hurts.
"Jetlag?" She asks again.
I nodded my head. "I'm okay, Tita Qwin. I will go outside later. Gusto ko rin naman silang makausap."
"Nandiyan si Somerca sa labas kasama si Marcus at Isabelle. They can take care of you. Sa kuwarto ka muna," She suggested.
Umiling naman ako. "I will stay here for minutes. I can manage the noise, Tita. Don't cha' worry."
She stood up. "Alright." She tucked her hair behind her ears. "I will call your cousins..."
I did not answer. I let her leave me alone here. Since that day, I left Davisian University. Wala na akong naging permanenteng tirahan.
I became a traveller and a tourist. Bawat araw ay minsan nagbibiyahe ako kapag business at minsan naman ay for leisure and pleasure.
I did everything just to forget and I guess, I moved on already. I know. Everything has been done.
"Yries!" I saw Isabelle walking through my direction.
I slightly smiled. "Hello, Isay."
Isabelle is followed by Ate Somerca and Marcus. Somerca is walking like a princess because of her evening dress. It's long and fit on the tummy part. Isabelle is wearing a khaki shorts and a pink v-neck t-shirt. Meanwhile, Marcus with his Khaki and white round neck t-shirt.
