Nakatakas lang ako sa tensyon na namagitan samin ng may tumawag sa kaniya. I grabbed that opportunity to turn my back against him.

Napasapo ako ng ulo ko ng maalala ang kaniyang sinabi. What the hell was he talking about? And why would I work with him? Baka mas lalo akong hindi makamove on kapag nagkasama kami sa iisang workplace.

Nilingon ko muli ang fastfood chain na pinagkainan namin. Naiwan doon si Limwell dahil mabilis ko siyang tinakasan nang makakuha ako ng tiyempo.

When I turned my back again, I almost sat down in the ground. Someone held my arms, I lifted my head and my eyes met her eyes. Nakakunot ang kaniyang noo pero ng makita ako ay nawala 'yon at napalitan ng ngiti.

"Oh my god! Sorry, Yries! I didn't see you!" She apologetically said.

Napansin ko rin na kasama niya ang kaniyang asawa na ngayon ay nakatingin na lang samin pero kanina ay inalalayan niya ang asawa. Yes, they're already happily married.

I cleared my throat and smiled back, "It's okay, Celestine. Hindi rin ako tumitingin."

"It's nice to see you again!" She greeted me, "C...Can I talk to you in private?"

I snipped and slightly nodded my head, "Yes sure. It's nice to meet you too."

Nakita ko na may sinabi pa siya kay Raius bago nagpaalam na umalis ito. Mukhang sinabi ni Celestine ang pakay niya kaya hinayaan siya ng kaniyang asawa.

"Just call me when you're done, Smith. I'll wait for you in the company." Raius Villavista said, and gave Celestine a kiss on the forehead before leaving.

"Okay, Ras!" And she smiled at him.

Really, in front of me? I secretly rolled my eyes because of the bitterness that ate my whole system. If I only had a choice to choose him, hindi sana ako ganito ngayon. I whispered that in my mind.

We went to the nearest coffee shop. Sa coffee shop na lang ang sinuggest ko kay Celestine dahil kakatapos ko lang naman kumain. Even though, I didn't eat well because of Limwell's presence.

"How's life, Yries?" Celestine started a conversation.

I smiled, "I'm fine. Congratulations to both of you. Sorry I failed to attend your wedding."

"Thank you. Don't worry, I understand your situation." She smiled, "It's good to hear you're okay."

I scanned Celestine's face, I couldn't blame Limwell when he admired her. She's really kind and beautiful, if I were a man she would probably be my ideal girl. She's strong, she fights for her love for Raius, and I envy her for that. Kung sa'min dalawa, siya talaga ang nakalamang.

Kaya siya nagustuhan ni Limwell. Those words echoed in my mind.

"I...If you wouldn't get me wrong. I just wanna ask how's your life without him?" Celestine said.

I was caught off guard. I cleared my throat and I don't know how to answer her question. Hindi sa ayokong sabihin sa kaniya, kundi hindi ko alam kung paano ko sasabihin.

"It's okay if you don't answer. I understand."

Celestine is kind and I know I can keep a secret from her. Alam ko naman na hindi basta-basta na magsasabi si Celestine kahit na kay Raius pa 'to.

I slightly shook my head. "Honestly, I am still hurt about my decision..."

Her forehead creased, "Decision?"

Mukhang hindi siya aware sa dahilan ng break up namin ni Limwell. Ang alam niya lang siguro ay naghiwalay kami.

"I chose my family over him." I gulped, "My cousin loves Limwell. She freaked out when she found out the truth. She accused me of stealing Limwell from her. She told everything about my status to my family. Ayaw na ayaw ng Tita ko na magboyfriend ako kaya pinapili niya ako at ayoko rin na saktan ang pinsan ko."
