Another Wednesday, another lousy day in my Junior year of high school. It gets pretty boring after a while; I wake up, take out my husky, change, get ready then leave. There's been no changes to my routine, none, no excitement, just a normal pattern repeated everyday and for what? Absolutely nothing.

    Anyways here I was just sitting in my class minding my own buisness, when suddenly this kid walks in. Seemed like a new kid. You can kinda tell who the new kids are because everyone stops to stare for a moment. The seating arrangements weren't the best and there was really only one empty seat of course it was next to.. me. He was a kinda cute short guy who wasn't afraid to be himself. I saw that he had... Wait no that's not right.
He has a pride flag and an ace flag? He's like me?... except shorter. He had blue hair that was pretty fluffy and he had it pulled back into a small ponytail. After an introduction of sorts with the teacher he sat in the only seat he could... next to me. He looked over at me and smiled a bit.
"Hey, I'm Damien, I guess I'm your new lab partner. My pronouns are He/They, what about you?" He extended his hand a bit and I took it and gave a bit of a smile while shaking. "Names Wyatt. Pronouns are He/They/It's" Damien nodded a bit before Mr.Brody started his lecture. During the lecture He caught me staring a few times, I couldn't help it he was cute, but it made him giggle a bit so it payed off.
"Glad I can make you laugh" I say with a bit of sarcasm which only made him giggle a bit more. "Alright class after break we will be working on a project involving DNA I want you to check online for what your supposed to do and team up with the person next to you it will be 40% of your grade" I heard the class sighs and grunts but I looked over at my new lab partner whom had beaten me to my words.."Guess we are partners" he says as I look over at him "Yeah guess we are!" I state before starting to go over the prompt with him.
"I think we should do a presentation on how DNA can impact someone's mental status" He looked over at me for approval. I nodded a bit "Sounds awesome Damien, Glad you have some idea in there." I slightly poked his head and he laughed. "Alright so..." He started but I kinda drifted off into my headspace.
'What are the odds of meeting someone like me? Would my parents approve?' I was snapped out of my thoughts by the school bell ringing signaling us to go to lunch. "Hey wanna sit together at lunch?" Damien asked, putting away his stuff. "Oh uh sure I usually sit outside on the stairs." I say as I packed my stuff and started heading to where I normally sat.
I didn't pick up lunch. Who eats school lunches at this point? I sat on the 5th step of the stairs and got on my phone. Damien came over a while later with his school lunch tray. "Not eating?" He asked and I shook my head "Well I have a packed lunch if you want that? It has sweets, You gotta eat something." I shook my head once again as I looked back at my phone.
Yeah no I am not telling him the real reason I don't eat. And you won't know either. He gave me some Goldfish anyways and I couldn't refuse the offer so I just ate them. He smiled at me "See it wasn't that hard uh.." he looked down a bit "Sorry what was your name again?" "Wyatt but people call me Blaze" I looked up at him before smiling a bit. He looked in shock "How could I forget such a cool name like yours!" He exclaimed a bit loudly. I chuckled a bit at his statement "Hey do you have anything we could text on?" "Oh uh yeah I have Discord" He said pulling out his phone before letting me see his username 'Grey Fullbuster#2413'
