"Jiju, waise, bina jooton ke ghar kaise jaoge aap?", Monami smiled naughtily while Arjun sighed and then smiled. "Ab agar Sali sahiba ne joote dene ki kripa kardi toh theek hai, warna..."

"Warna kya?", Monami challenged. Arjun came closer and started tickling her. "Rate kam kardo, tabhi gudgudi karna rokoonga.", Arjun said while Monami laughed due to the tickling, the rest looked at them while smiling and enjoying their banter. 'Na-nahi, main kam nahi karoongi. 10,000 matlab 10,000.", Monami said while laughing. "8000", Arjun bargained "Chalo 9999, aap bhi kya yaad rakhoge.", Monami beamed while Sakshi laughed. "Good going Monu.", she cheered up while Arjun glared at her.

"Bhai, itne mein toh naye joote aa jayenge.", Karan said. "Par itni raat ko konsi dukaan khuli hogi? Jao, layo naye joote.", Monami giggled as Arjun continued tickling her. Eventually this went on for 15 minutes and then both stopped at 8,500 Rs.

Sakshi lifted her lehenga and turned out she had slipped them over her own sandals after coming down from the mandap. "Tabhi main sochoon, mandap se utarne ke baad Monami ka purse jab gira toh usse itna time kyun lag gaya usse uthane mein. Aur uske baad Sakshi itni baar trip kyun ho rahi thi.", Arjun concluded while the sisters smiled in success. "Paise do", Monami showed her palm. "Joote do pehle.", Arjun pointed at his feet. "Pehle Paise.", "Na, Pehle joote". "Pehle Paise!", "Pehle Joote!"

Karan and Sakshi sighed, Sakshi placed the shoes in front of Arjun's feet and touched them as it was a ritual while Karan gave Monami the money on her hand.

(GK Gyan: Placing the money on the wife's hand by the husband is a symbol of respect and trust. It shows that the husband is trusting his wife, the Laxmi of the house, with the prosperity and wealth coming into the house. It is done after the husband earns his first salary after marriage.)

Arjun and Monami both smiled at getting what they wanted, both were so lost in teasing each other that they forgot what Sakshi and Karan did while the elders and the others noticed everything and smiled internally.

Since there was no 'bidai' for the bride, Sakshi was about to sit in the car directly when Sid and Monami gave the rice to her.

"Arey, bidai nahi hogi na, phir chawal kyun?", Sakshi asked while everyone looked at Monami and Sid for an answer. "Kyun? Bidai matlab ki aap kisi ghar ya logon ko chod kar doosre logon ke saath naye rishte banane jana hai, toh, hum bhi toh wahi log hain jinhein aap 'technically' chod kar jaa rahe ho, woh alag baat hai ki hum aapko chodenge nahi, par phir bhi.", Monami said. "Wahi toh, phir bhi, hum chawal kyun chode, raat mein fried rice ban jayenge!", Sid completed making everyone chuckle and Monami glare.

"Uska matlab hai ki jaise vidai mein rice bride assurance ke roop mein phekti hai, ki daughter Laxmi ka roop hoti hain and ek daughter ghar chod kar jaa rahi hai, lekin phir bhi prosperity ghar mein rahegi, waise hi apko humein bhi toh assurity deni hai na. Bhale hi aap sister kyun na ho. Aur rice phekne se evil and negative vibes bhi ward off ho jati hain", Monami completed. The elders and the rest got impressed and encouraged Sakshi to do so. 'Chalo, thoda bohot gyaan toh hai isse, yeh bhi gyaan movie se hi mila hoga.', Karan muttered while Faizi, Karan's colleague, trainer at Parakram Academy smirked. 'Mohotarma khoobsurat hain waise.', he whispered earning a glare from Karan. 'Nahi, matlab aap janab itna soch rahe the unke baar mein toh humein laga...', Faizi left the sentence incomplete while Karan shook his head disinterestedly.

Sakshi took the rice mixed with some flowers from Monami as she walked with the plate of rice beside her, and threw them behind her while walking and Sid tried to catch them. "Sakshi bro, thoda slow walk karo, itni bhi kya jaldi hai suhagraat ki, main rice catch nahi kar paa raha!", Sid complained while the rest laughed apart from Sakshi and Arjun who were blushing at the mention of suhagraat
