Jae-chan sighed after his Dad's car passed. He walks casually into the school area. After just a few steps, his body jerked backward. His bag gets stuck in the iron gate. He chuckles, cursing the carelessness of the first day. Jae-chan hastily pull over because more and more students were coming. He look down, checking where his bag got stuck as his body was pushing against it until the gate made a sound.
Jaechan was about to complain as soon as the figure who pushed him passed without feeling the slightest bit guilty. He refrains from causing anything on his first day. So all he did was check his bag and found his purple rainbow-shaped acrylic hanger broken.
"Aish!" He mutters resentfully.
After successfully unlinking his bag with the iron gate, his eyes search for the figure who had pushed him earlier.
In the midst of the crowd of students who had just arrived, that figure tower and stood out.
"Gorilla." That's what Jaechan said. "What a lovely start to the day."

In the teacher's room, Jaechan meets Teacher Kang who will be his homeroom teacher. They talk for a while until the doorbell ring.
"You can pick up your books later in the curriculum room. Meet the teacher there and hand her this paper. Come on, let's go to class." Teacher Kang takes Jaechan to his class which is on the third floor.
Along the hall, Jaechan stole glances at the classes that had already started. Not so different from his old school. Only a matter of a wider building and more students.
"Although it's quite risky to change schools in middle years like this, I think you'll be able to adapt. These kids here may be noisy, but they're nice. They can be nosy at times, but they know how to respect other people." That's what Teacher Kang said when the two of them arrived in front of the closed class 2-3.
There was a commotion in the class.
"But, they are indeed noisy. Wait here cynically while I start the class, come in when I tell you to." Teacher Kang lightly pats Jaechan's shoulder.
Jae-chan nod and starts to feel nervous. He surveys the state of his new class through the window.
"Come in." A few moments later Teacher Kang calls out to him from inside the classroom.
Jae-chan swallows his saliva and starts to enter the classroom which immediately returns to sound after previously being silent when Teacher Kang arrived.
"Cha, introduce yourself."
"Annyeonghaseyo. My name is Jaechan. Park Jaechan." Jae-chan greet his friends and bowed.
"Oh, moksori." One of his classmates speaks up.
"Jonghyeong, be quiet." Teacher Kang raises the stick in his hand. "Sit in the back seat over there. We've finally it's not odd anymore. Seoham, you can't skip activities class anymore. You've got a partner now."
Jaechan's eyes dart around and saw a figure he hadn't noticed before, sitting with a nonchalant look. His legs looked uncomfortable because they were long.
"I guess..." Jae-chan mumbled and made Teacher Kang turn to him.
"Come on, have a seat. Your subject teacher will be here soon."
Jae-chan stepped into the back seat next to the boy named Seoham. It was clear that his seatmate did not accept his presence.
"Hey, new students. I'm Kyungyoon and this is Jonghyeon. Finally, I have a reason to look back."
"Shut up, Yoon." It was Seoham who speak from behind his hands covering his entire head.
"At least be a good seatmate, Park Seoham."
"Oh, you two have the same surname. Just like a couple." Jonghyeong chimes in.
Jaechan was quite surprised by the friend's words in front of him. But he should not jump to conclusions and should concentrate on his studies.
Two of his friends were back facing the front as soon as the English teacher came in.
Jaechan wanted to wake Seoham up but know enough because they hadn't met and it seem the figure beside him was already emitting a 'don't bother me' aura. Although he has difficulty following the lesson because he doesn't have a guidebook and is reluctant to ask Seoham to shift his book so that it can be used together.
"Park Seoham." The English teacher calls him. "I know you are good at my subjects, but you should be a little sensitive if your classmate who is also a new student seems to be having trouble with my class. At least let him use your book instead of using it for sleeping."
"Tsk." Seoham chuck. "Annoying," he mumbled which made Jaechan instantly annoyed.
Bent Out Of Shape
Infuriated, annoyed.
