Tamaki had a... problem.
Since he was a child he was prone to obsession.
He was severely attached to all that was around him, his toys when he was really young, his mother as he grew older, and most recently his club members.
He absolutely could not allow them in harms way.
Especially Yuuto.
He didn't quite know what it was,
He was just an average guy... he didn't fit in to the club well considering they already had a stoic member and his looks were only slightly above average.
He did boring things like read, Tamaki couldn't sit through a book if he tried.
Perhaps his kindness? The way he easily bossed members around and got away with it? But, Kyoya did that too?

He had to bet Yuuto wanted to touch him too.
He misses him really bad... he needs to see him at all times.
