Skeppy
Skeppy woke up first, aware that he had put a blanket over Bad in the middle of the night. Skeppy smiled at Bad sleeping and decided to clean up what he could which wasn't much. After only a few seconds he had everything he could in a spot and his phone began going off. He accepted the call, it being from the neighbor he asked to come check on his dog. He wondered why they were calling. Maybe Rocco had eaten grass and threw up somewhere in the house. That would be annoying. Though it's happened a few times.
"Hello?" Skeppy said, keeping his voice low so he could allow Bad to sleep more. "Yeah Mr. Ahmed I'd like to inform you your dog ran out of the house." The person said casually. "What?!" Skeppy yelled into the phone and looked at Bad, concerned he woke him when he didn't. He relaxed and continued speaking to the person. "What do you mean my dog ran out of the house?" Skeppy harshly questioned. "I opened the door and he just ran out like he was planning to go somewhere." The neighbor said casually. "Aren't you gonna stop him?! Go after him?" Skeppy snapped, anxiety building up. "Not my dog. Not my problem." They said to him. Skeppy makes a huff of agitation. "Go home sir and leave the keys on the table and get out of my house." Skeppy said very agitated. The person did as told as far as Skeppy was aware and the call ended.
Skeppy gently shaked Bad and Bad woke up. "What Geppy. I'm tired." Bad whined and shifted to face the other way. "Bad the person that went to check on my dog let Rocco out and now Rocco is somewhere besides at home." Skeppy said his speech picking up pace as the reality of the situation sets in. Bad turned around and got up and looked at Skeppy seriously. "Well then what are we doing just sitting around!" Bad said leaping up to his feet. The two began driving and got into to parking lot, chose a direction and began yelling out for Rocco. Both of them were determined in finding the missing dog and were walking at a very quick pace. Where are you Rocco? Skeppy thought in his mind, him speed walking around with Bad beside him. Skeppy wasn't going to just give up anytime soon and he knew Bad wasn't giving up either. Skeppy was extremely stressed and panicking.
They pause at the sight of Rocco crossing the street and they both began yelling at Rocco to get out of the way from a car speeding through. All of the sudden someone races out into the street, screaming, "Save the dog!!". They pushed Rocco away from the car, getting themselves hurt. Bad screamed in fright and suprise and they both ran out into the street and came up to the person, concerned for them and their safety and why in the world they ran out into the street to save a dog. Bad began trying to comfort the person, them moaning in pain. "What's your name?" Bad asked quickly. "Muffinz." They breathed out. The two of them looked at each other. Skeppy grabbed Rocco's collar and dialed 911 to get help for the person. Skeppy began explaining to the person on the line what happened and where they were and the person said they will be there soon.
The two of them talked to the person and the medics came and comforted that she only broke her legs. Skeppy pulled out 500 dollars, saying that it was for the person to thank them for risking their life for his dog and help pay the medical bill. The medic nodded and gently took the money and the ambulance left and they went back to Skeppy's house to return Rocco to safety.
