OTP!

Ok, this one is a personal favourite and I love it!

This one also is similar to Sharkbaitshipping in the way that there is another ship that rivals this one: Aiballshipping. The ship of Yusaku x Ai or the dark ignis.

I honestly thought I would never ship "Revolver" with Yusaku because they felt like the most like enemies.

I remember seeing fan art for this ship, I thought it was just that spicy ship where you ship enemy characters.

Then, when I finally finished the Yugioh Vrains series, I finally figured out why people ship them, including myself.

Yusaku spends a large amount of time in his story, trying to overcome his trauma and figure out why the people who kidnapped and torture him did such things.

He always kept mentioning a person or at least a voice that saved him.

I was completely with him throughout the story.

I actually disliked Ryoken at the time.

I didn't want the Ignis to die and for Ai and his friends to be destroyed.

I honestly didn't like his first outfit in the Link Vrains due to how dead and robotic it looked. It felt inhuman.

I remember feeling so surprised when it was revealed the person who saved Yusaku was him!

I was like, "Oh my god!"

Also, when they revealed what he looked in real life, I was like, "He is a white/silver haired boy with blue eyes! He is so pretty!"

But regardless, I became even more intrigued with the story.

Once it was truly canon that Ryoken or Revolver was the person that saved Yusaku when he was a child, I was just instantly on board with shipping them!

Also, Revolver's second outfit was so much better and I loved it! Everything looked so cool and his dramatic reappearance was so fun!

Overall, Ryoken quickly became my second favourite character, the first being Yusaku.

My reasons for shipping them are:

Ryoken saving Yusaku even though his father might end up getting arrested.

Yusaku having a certain habit all due to Ryoken telling him to think of three things to live for!

Ryoken and Yusaku actually spend some time together so their interactions are very entertaining to watch.

Their lighthearted and important conversations mean so much!

They seem to pay the most attention to each other other than Yusaku giving attention to Ai.

Ryoken gave a card that was his archetype to Yusaku and like I said before, I believe that the cards that the characters use represent themselves and who they are, so giving a card of that personal deck to someone else is significant.

Also, Yusaku seems to be so hung up on Ryoken and trusts him a lot!
