Now that Eda had a hotel room for the party, the teens followed Eda to the room. It was decided that Hunter, Amity and Luz would have a room and Willow, Gus, and Eda would have the room next door. Amity and Luz were to sleep on the bed together. Hunter got a bed to himself. Everyone was to be asleep no later than 11:30. Hunter groaned at this. Amity stroked Luz's hand while Hunter tried to go to sleep. "Don't worry Luz." "We will have you back in the Boiling Isles in no time."

Everyone slept well.. everyone except for Hunter. He tossed and turned and thought the beds were uncomfortable. Eda fed the starving children pancakes. She got them from the hotel lobby, for they were serving breakfast. She then told the kids that they could go downstairs to the lobby and play in their arcade as long as they wore their hoods and practiced no magic. The children thought that withholding magic would be terrible, but Eda reminded them of the consequences. Just picturing the consequences made all the teens say yes ma'am, something Eda enjoyed hearing. They went downstairs and Eda sat with Luz. "Don't worry baby, we are gonna find a doctor."  She looked down at Luz. She was still breathing, but she had a feeling, like in the Boiling Isles, health could take a fall at any moment and so she started to make some calls from the hotel room to some local clinics.

Meanwhile, the girls were dumbfounded by the arcade. Bright flashing lights popped and colors were spinning madly. Willow and Amity saw games like Dance Dance Revolution and a game where you must spin a wheel. Amity noticed a game where you put your coin in and then wait for something to happen. She tried it out and received nothing in return. Just then, a group of boys walked past Hunter in the lobby and into the arcade. They eyed the girls and when they saw Willow bouncing around on Dance Dance Revolution, they snickered. Willow looked at Amity. She wore a look of that of a sad puppy. The boys called her names and laughed at her.

Amity was about to step in and defend her friend when Hunter came in. He was appalled by the behavior of the boys and said "Is there a problem?" A tall boy turned and said "This fat girly is playing the game, and we just thought we'd make a laugh." "We have never seen someone so large play such a game." The other boy said "We hope she doesn't break it." That was the last straw for Hunter. "You dare insult the captain of the flyer derby?" "I think she can do whatever she wants, if you have a problem then leave." The boys snickered again and taunted Hunter. The tall one walked up to Hunter. "What are you gonna do about it?" "You are small and I am bigger than you." Hunter brought an uppercut but the kid caught in and squeezed her knuckles. Hunter winced in pain. Amity kicked at both the boys and one of them laughed "You fight like a girl." Willow stepped in and slapped the small boy across the face and kicked him in the shin. Hunter bit his captor's hand and then launched himself from the coin machine and slammed a kick into the tall one. The other boy said "Not bad." However, the kid had his grip on Willow. He squeezed her tight. "You wouldn't mind if I stole her?" Hunter became angry. "You're going to let the captain go." The kid lifted her off the ground and started to spin her around. Hunter didn't like his antics and he grabbed the boy's shoulder. When the kid turned, he landed a punch into the kid's cheek. The kid screamed and said "You'll pay." He ran at Hunter and Hunter punched him in the side. The kid fell to the floor and wheezed.

Hunter pressed his foot on the kid's hand and the kid yelled and cried. Hunter yelled and said "I better not see your face again." The kid quickly got up and ran out of the arcade. He was definitely wetting himself. Willow smiled and walked towards Hunter. "Thank you, Hunter." Hunter averted his eyes and blushed.

Meanwhile, Gus was filling up ice cubes for the room. An elderly man walked in and said "hey sonny" in a hushed voice. Gus was confused "That's not my name." "My name is Gus!" The old man said "I had a dog named Gus." Gus asked "What's a dog?" The old man sat down on a bench. Gus asked "Did you need some ice?" The old man smiled and said "Oh no sonny you go on right ahead." Gus smiled back and said "I insist." The old man got up and smiled "Thank you sonny!" "That's so kind of you." The old man slowly walked to the tub on his cane and his finger wobbled trying to find the most obvious button to eject ice. Gus waited patiently, but with each 10 seconds, his patience got more thin. Finally, the old man figured it out and smiled "Thanks again Sonny!" He straightened himself on his cane and walked out.

Ok that's it.
