Even though it was raining and freezing i sweating. Im i really gonna tell her that i like her. Here. In the rain where were in a fight.
"I--"
As im about to say anything a guy starts running towards us and yelling kristen's name. It was Cameron.
He caught up to us and he was trying to catch his breath.
"Cameron? Why you here in the rain?" Kristen said.
"Kristen. I cant stop thinking about you" cameron said.
"I need you Kristen" he continued.
"Cameron..."
She was speechless. I was just about to tell her how i feel.
I start walking away. Kristen saw me and went in front of me.
"What are you doing?"
"Im leaving you guys alone"
"But what were you gonna say?"
"Dont worry about it. I think i just got an answer" i smiled in sadness.
I walked away and Kristen went back to Cameron. I came home drenched. Luckily my parents weren't home so i just threw my clothes in the wash and put on PJs. I sat by the fireplace.
I grabbed my guitar and some paper. I started strumming. I played till it was 12am. I head upstairs and laid in bed till i fell asleep.
In the morning it was still cold and cloudy but there was no rain. I but on a grey long sleeve with jeans and a black leather jacket.
I head outside and just started walking. I didnt know where i was going.
I was thinking if me and Kristen were even friends anymore. I wonder if she is even with Cameron. I walk for 20 minutes than i see Cameron coming towards me but he is looking down.
"Hey Cam" i said.
He looked up.
"Oh hey Shawn..."
"Whats up? You dont look too good"
"Kristen..."
"What?"
"She doesnt feel the same way. She likes someone else"
Someone else? That makes me even more sad that now i know she doesnt like me. Cameron pats me on the back and says,
"Good luck.." He walks off.
Good luck? For what?
"Wait!" I said.
He stops and turns around.
"What?"
"Good luck for what?"
"Something tells me the suns gonna come out for you" he winks and smiles.
I was confused. Then i realized what he meant. I started running.
