I get up from my 3 hour sleep and get dressed. I wore shorts and a red ombre tank with a bony tail. No makeup. I was not in the mood for anything. I came downstairs and my mom made breakfast. She made a smoothie.
"Good Morning sweetie"
"Hi" i pour the smoothie in a glass.
As i take a sip theres a knock on the door. My mom opens it and it was Shawn.
"Hello mrs. Mota" he smiles.
"Oh Shawn pease call me Tammy"
"Ok" he notices me in the kitchen.
"Oh come on in ill let you guys talk" my mom says.
He walks in and my mom goes to her office.
"Hey you" he gives me a hug.
This hug though, wasnt that comforting.
"Hey" i put my hair around my ear.
"You ok?" He notices my emotion.
"I feel like cam doesnt like you" i admit.
"What?"
"He was trying to convince me that Alexa didnt drug you. I dont believe him though because you cant make that up"
"Plus people saw me and said i looked pale" he added.
"I think Cameron still has feelings for me. And i dont want him too" i continue.
"Should i talk to him?" He offered.
"He wont admit anything to you" i point out.
"That is true"
His phone starts buzzing all of the sudden. He picks it up and sets it face down on the counter.
"Everything ok?" I ask.
"Frickin Alexa. Hasn't stop texting me"
"Tell her to shut up" i say.
"Ive tried"
We were silent for a second than Shawn grabbed his phone and put it back in his pocket.
"I have to go. See you soon?" He says.
"Ok" we hug.
That was a little more comforting.
He walks out. I sit at the dining table and think about Cameron. So far Shawn is winning me over and think thats how it is gonna stay.
