You need to have watched series 6 and 7 of tns to know what's happening and in this book, hummer never happened and richelliot never happened. Instead nochelle happened and Jackie never had another boyfriend after Henry. Anyways, let's cue the story!
I remember the day I first joined the next step. I'd never been apart of a proper dance troupe, so the experience was exhilarating. I walked in to the welcoming doors of studio A, and I noticed Michelle, Emily and Noah in the office, although I didn't know at the time.
"As you all know, we need a dancer to replace Miss Angela's daughter, Lily, if I'm not mistaken?" I can still remember Emily introducing me. "So I've brought in a wonderful dancer who just moved here from, well, all over. I've seen her on tikkytok, or whatever you kids call it, she's won scholarships to the national ballet, she was even on America's got talent! This is Summer."
I waved and everybody waved back, smiling. Noah shook my hand and said, "I'm Noah, the dance captain. Let the team introduce thei-."
Noah was cut off but a short girl with wavy blonde hair and blue eyes. Richelle. Of course. I recall her saying, "Hey, I'm Richelle, probably the best female dancer there is, the most senior dancer after Noah, the reason we qualified for regionals-."
"Woah, woah, woah," Jackie said. "Last time I checked, you were injured midway through the video, therefore I had to replace you as your boyfriend Noah's duet partner, with barely no rehearsals, and Kingston had to do some weird editing to try and cut that bit out. It's honestly a miracle we qualified."
"Hold up Jackie, who's been here for longer? Who was dance captain before Noah, "she paused, "took it away from me?" She turned at Noah and said, "still love you though babe," and turned back to Jackie. "Who was that Jackie? Me, I thought so."
"Girls, that's enough!" That was the first time I heard Michelle's voice. "Behave, or you'll both be sent down to b-troupe, and Winnie and Heath will be replacing you."
"Nooo, not Heathcliff!" Ozzy said. "Hey Summer, I'm Ozzy, and if you're as good as you seem to be, I may take my eyes of Richelle and place them on you." I giggled at that hopeless flirt. The team definitely showed their...character. But I guess it all payed off. Right now, I'm standing beside them now, arm in arm, waiting to find out if we won regionals.
"And the winner, of the Absolute Dance Regionals is..."
