September 13
It's been a week since Brielle left her family home and she's been busy with her school and work ever since. Brielle works at a very fancy restaurant only about ten minutes, walking distance, from her apartment.
Her boss had her working pretty much every night during the week days. Brielle normally wouldn't mind since she desperately needed the money but due to her situation, she has been feeling extremely tired by time her shift would end. Her feet would ache with sores and Brielle Mae always found her collapsing on her bed by time she reached home.
She also would wake up every morning to run to her toilet and empty her stomach. Morning sickness they call it and oh how Brielle hated it. She would spend close to an hour in the bathroom, throwing up then taking a long hot shower where she allow the water to disguise her tears that ran like a flood down her cheeks.
"Kyree I'm exhausted" Brielle sighed heavily, laying her head down on her cousin's shoulder.
"What's going on? You're pale Mae"
"I just been working like crazy and my professors have me stressed with all of these assignments and exams." She told him not wanting to mention her other growing problem.
It's not that she doesn't trust Christian because she does. She is just scared that once she finally says it out loud that it will finally become a real thing.
As much as she loved kids, she does not want any this early. Brielle Mae never asked for this but she doesn't want to terminate her pregnancy; at least not right now. Brielle never really was a fan of abortion.
She always understood the women who did get them because she can understand how some women just aren't financially but also mentally and emotionally available for a child. She would never tell a woman what to do with their body and found people who did very irritating and stupid.
"Maybe you can ask your boss to allow you a few days off so you can catch up on your school work" Christian suggests making Brielle sigh once more and slowly nod her head.
"She said I'm not on the schedule until next Thursday which gives me a few days to relax some I guess." Brielle tells him making Christian nod his head. Today is friday so that gives her a good six days to relax and fix her grades.
A phone rang and Christian looked down to see it was his. "I'll be right back" He mumbled to Brielle before standing up and walking a few feet away.
Brielle ran a hand through her tangled hair and looked down at her phone to see her birthday mother Olivia had texted her asking to see her soon.
"I'll see you later Elle. Work needs me" He said as he walks back over to Brielle who nods and sends him a soft smile. He bends down to place a gentle kiss on her cheek and telling her good bye.
"Bye" Brielle waved him bye and he left her apartment, closing the door behind himself.
Brielle looked at the clock to see it was close to five in the evening. She contemplated if she should finish her school work or take a much needed nap.
Brielle Mae chose the latter and found herself laying down on her bed, snuggled up under her covers. Brielle let out a small contented sigh and smiled as she closed her eyes.

"Good morning! What can I get you?" A very cheerful barista asked Brielle who grinned politely at her before quickly telling her what she wanted.
"That would be ten dollars and thirty three cents. Can I have a name for the order?"
"Brielle" Brielle told her and handed her the money for her drink and sandwich.
