October 20

"My child was gone Killian" Brielle stands to her feet as she stares at him. Tears well up in her eyes as her eyes slowly find her daughter. "She was gone for months and no one had any idea where she was. I didn't know where she was!"

"Baby—"

Sucking her teeth, Brielle makes sure to surround her daughter in their blankets and pillows before pushing past her boyfriend. "Yes I have forgiven you for it but I haven't forgotten." Killian reaches towards her and attempts to hold her hand but she moves out of his reach.

"I spent days looking out of my window hoping to see my baby girl somehow coming back to me." Wiping at her tears, she shakes her head lowly. "I can't f-forget." Brielle looks at him with saddened eyes. "All the things I s-screamed at you and everyone else. All the pain that coarse through m-my body for not k-knowing where my d-daughter was. I can't forget that Killian. No m-matter how I try, I c-can't."

Killian takes a step back at her words. His face softens and Brielle only sobs quietly as she sighs. "I didn't know you were still having trouble with all of this." Clearing his throat and casting a glance down at the floor, Killian looks down at Brielle who peers up at him. "What can I do to help you? H-How—" Pausing, the man chuckles under his breath at his uncertainty. "What do you need from me?"

"I don't want to lose you." Brielle admits more to herself than to him. "Even though I went through all of that, I don't want to leave you."

"You won't."

Smiling softly, Brielle wipes at her eyes once more. Silence overtook the room as the two of them stared at the other. Thoughts running miles through both of their heads. "I love you." Brielle then says as her smile grows into a large grin. "I love you so much."

"I love you too—"

"But I need to talk to someone about this." She sighs and grabs her boyfriend's hands in hers. "I can't keep hiding this...huge secret about my life. I can't keep burying this pain and hurt I felt."

Confusion.

That's what filled Killian's core.

He opened his mouth to form some sort of reply but he was lost for words. Brielle notices his reaction and quickly shakes her head. "I wouldn't tell them the exact details but Killian." She pauses and squeezes his hands lightly. "I can't keep living like this. I can't thinking every time we leave here that I might lose you or Rae."

Lifting her hands up to place a soft kiss on the back of them, Killian chuckles lowly and pulls her closer. "I can't survive in this universe without you princess so I'm not worried about you speaking with someone." He then smirks, kissing her cheek. "And I know just who you can talk to."

"Who?"

"Um" Looking over at the shorter—close to her own height—woman who stood in front of Brielle, she nervously glanced over at her boyfriend Killian; who stood beside her. "Hi I'm Brielle." She says shyly, squeezing her boyfriend's hand as she speaks.

He squeezes hers back and moves closer to her in attempt to calm her down. "Welcome Brielle. I'm Dr. Aston. Would you like to have a seat?" The short woman asks the nervous  individual. Brielle licks her lips as her eyes find the grey seat across from Dr. Aston's dark green chair. Moving over to the soft grey furniture, she sits down while Dr. Aston finds her seat.

"I-I don't really know what to do." She casts a glance at her boyfriend sends her a nod and turns to leave the room. "I never done this before." She mutters quietly once the door shuts.

The woman chuckles lowly and smiles warmly toward Brielle Mae. "How was your week? I'm not here to judge you on anything Brielle. I'm just here simply to listen to you and what you have to say." She tells her kindly and crosses one leg over the other.

Brielle rubs her sweaty palms on her shirt and sighs softly. "Well..."She pauses and bites her lip, trying to think. "Soon it's going to be Halloween and I am looking forward to it because it is my daughter's first halloween. Halloween is also one of my favorite holidays so I am very happy to be able to celebrate with her. I been going back and forth to the store to find the perfect Halloween costume for her."

Dr. Aston nods her head as she began to write in the white note pad that is seated directly on her lap. "And what is the little princess wearing?" She asks as she slowly grins.

"Ah well the final choices were pirate, pumpkin, or princess." Brielle smiles as flashes of that day flows through her mind. "Baby girl picked pumpkin."

"That's wonderful."

"I also went on a date with my boyfriend who came in with him." Dr.Aston nods at Brielle's words and she continues to speak. "Oh god it was the most incredible night. He took me very extravagant restaurant. He was complimenting my dress and how beautiful I looked which really helped because I put a lot of effort into my outfit that night."

"The food was great and we had a great time. Then he surprised me again by taking me to this rooftop. He had the whole rooftop decorated in my favorite flowers then little candles—the fake ones though." Brielle quickly adds as she laughs. She then takes a moment to look away from the woman sitting across from her.

Dr. Aston watches as Brielle looks down at her hands and shakes her head lowly. "What's going through your head right now Brielle?" She asks her making the girl sigh.

"You are my everything. I'm always happy around you my love."

"He created this perfect night. He made sure every little detail was absolutely perfect. I-I" Pausing, Brielle sniffles as she grabs a tissue from the box on the coffee table in front of her. "I just don't feel d-deserving of him sometimes." She admits in a quiet voice.

"Why is that?"

Shrugging, Brielle sniffles again. "What do you mean why?" She cries looking over at Dr. Aston who only stared at her for a moment.

"Why do you not feel deserving of your boyfriend Brielle?" She repeats as her fingers play with her pen some. Her eyes watch over Brielle as the girl shifts in her seat at the question.

"Because"

Dr. Aston's lips fell in a straight line for a moment and the woman across from her slowly allow for silence to fill the room. Brielle shakes her head, unsure on how to answer the simple question. A series of thoughts race through her mind and she could only look at her hands in shame.

"Because I'm broken" the second the words left her lips, Brielle's face dropped and she began to cry loudly. Dr. Aston sat up and handed Brielle the tissue box. "I-I'm so b-broken. I-I"

Her tear stain eyes sting as she began to breathe heavily through her cries. "Brielle." Dr.Aston calls out to the woman who only continues yelling the same sentence.

I'm broken.

"Brielle!"

"Brielle!"
