Mias pov.
At home 2 weeks later.

Jj, liv, Jordan and I were sitting on the couch watching tv. My dad came home a few days ago so he was working on fixing stuff around the house.

Jjs phone rings. He ignored it

"Not cool jj" liv said.

"Well yeah it was Simone" he said.

"Oh good I was hoping it was the mother of your unborn child you were ignoring" I said.

"Look her ultrasound is at the same time as the crenshaws rematch ok? I can't go. I don't want her to feel like I'm bailing." Jj said.

"Right so ghosting her feels like a better solution" i said.

Livs phone rings and it was asher.

She ignored it.

"Not cool liv" jj said.

Jordan laughed.

"This is different" Liv says.

"Mmm since when do you ignore asher?" I said.

"Since we sort of....." Liv said.

My mouth dropped.

"No thanks don't need any details" Jordan said.

"No wr just kissed and were fully sober. And idk- I really do like him." Liv said.

"So what's the problem?" Jordan said.

"I'm just hesitant to be with him. Idk why." She said.

"Well liv last time your guys were together you were in a bad place." I said.

"Maybe you just don't want it to remind you of the addiction" Jordan said

"Well it's not something that I forget. I make an active choice everyday to stay sober " Liv says.

"Ok but do you need yet another reminder?" Jordan says.

"Reminder of what?" My dad says.

"Nothing" everyone says.

"Jj can you help with groceries" dad says.

"Yessir" jj said.

"I'll help" Jordan said.

Jj got you and so was Jordan until I grabbed his hand.

"Hey let liv do what she wants. If asher makes her happy then that's all that matters" I said.

"Okay I will" he says kissing my head and went to help jj.

So hows your dad doing with the divorce?" Liv asked.

"Well good so far I mean he came home once jj told my dad about him getting Simone pregnant and hes just doing things to take his mind of things you know." I said.

"Yeah I get that" she said.

Later at the Cafe.

I was inside with Jordan, jj and the rest of the football team and liv was outside on a phone call.

A football teams boosters daughter was recording jj and Jordan for a eating contest they always do as a tradition before a game.

I saw Simone outside with liv.

I walked outside and saw Simone trying to come into the Cafe.

"Simone wait hi!" I said blocking her way.

"Hi" she says and continues to walk

"Hi" I said again.

"Mia I know what you're doing. I really need you too move. Your brother isn't gonna get away with ghosting me mia" she says.
