A few days later

Laila came out of the place she was in finally.

I am supposed to meet liv, Laila, asher and Spencer at the Cafe.

I walked into the Cafe and saw them at a table.

"Hey guys sorry I'm late Jordan had to drop something off first." I said sitting at the table.

"It's fine" Laila said.

"Omg Laila I missed you so much!!" I said hugging her

"I missed you so much also!!" Laila said hugging me back.

"So what did I miss?" I said sitting in the open seat next to asher.

"Nothing much just talking about livs podcast" Spencer said.

"Oh well I listened to it and it was amazing liv" I said.

"Finally someone listened to it!" Liv said.

"What you guys haven't listened to it?" I said looking at Spencer and asher

"Moving on" asher said.

"So let me catch you up oh whats happened since youve been gone." Liv said to Laila.

"Okay" Laila said.

"Let's see uh.. jjs president" Liv said.

"Oh. Stop. No that's enough." Laila said.

We all started laughing.

"I don't want to live this scary new world. Maybe I should just check myself back in" Laila said laughing.

"No. Don't you dare. You're coming to my cotillion." Liv said.

"I can't not believe you are excited for a fancy ball. Mia what happened to her?" Laila said.

"She's becoming a woman" I said joking.

"Who said I was excited? I mean if I have to try on one more pair of frilly white gloves. I will cut my hands off in protest." Liv said.

"You would still need gloves for the stumps though right?" Spencer said.

"Thats true" Laila said.

"Hey she's been dreading this thing since she heard about it." Asher said.

"Why? I think it's gonna be fun we can like all go together." Liv said

"I wish Spencer, mia, ash and I have to get there early to line up for the official presentation. " Liv said.

"I'm still surprised you are doing it mia" Laila said.

"My mom made me" I said

"But thought she wasn't in town or anything" Laila said

"Her mom texted my mom and told her to put mia in it with me so she's in it" Liv said.

"Oh damn" Laila said.

"Yeah" I said.

"Wait why do you have to be there?" Laila looked at Spencer.

"Uh, kia didn't have an escort, so I told her I'll go." Spencer said.

"Just wait until you see me and ashers rendition of beauty and the best." Liv said smiling at asher

"Wait who's who?" Asher said laughing

"Uhh... Your definitely the beast, but only because you've been working out so much" Liv said.

"You hitting pretty hard?" Spencer said.
