jake & niki

based off of the backrooms

(even though you can't be with other people in this level, they're still gonna be with each other)

jake and niki have been looking into 'the backrooms' a lot recently.

they know about a few of the levels. for example, level 0, the most known level.

today they wanted to try noclipping out of normal reality to get to the backrooms.

the two had to travel fast enough through a solid surface to hopefully succeed. if they don't then they can get seriously hurt.

jake and niki where standing in front of a wall in their shared dorm. they made sure to leave a note for the others just in case this worked.

they both look at the wall holding hands tightly.

"are you ready?" jake asked.

"mhm."

they both took a deep breathe.

jake squeezed the youngers hand, indicating it's time to run.

they started running as fast as they could, hoping this would work.

then they closed there eyes.

niki woke up and felt his head pounding.

it took him a minute before remembering what happened.

he jolted his head up and looked around.

he made it. he made it to level 0.

but.

where was jake?

the tall boy stood up, confused.

"HYUNG" he yelled, his voice only echoed through the rooms.

jake was nowhere in sight.

niki was wondering if he was the only one that made it.

he knew the perks of being here, which he didn't want to be alone.

he quickly started moving around, hoping jake didn't stay in the normal reality.

the walls all had yellow wallpaper, the carpets were damp, there were some electrical outlets, and bright lights on the ceiling.

there were seemingly infinite rooms, all of them where the same.

niki searched for what felt like hours.

he was exhausted.

he wanted to rest, but before he could, he heard footsteps coming from behind.

"fuck."

he figured there was an entity not far from him.

niki stayed still, it wouldn't come after him if he wasn't moving.

he shut his eyes, hearing the footsteps getting closer.

he then heard a voice "niki?"

his eyes opened.

"HYUNG"

niki embraced the older into a hug.

"shh, we don't want to attract an entity" jake said.

the younger nodded his head.

"you scared me, i thought you where one" he whispered.

jake chuckled.

"c'mon, i found a way out of this level"

i'm sorry i've barely been updating this book, i've literally had no ideas and i have also been busy with updating my sunsun book 😭

i'm gonna try to update more often here

but this oneshot was so fun to write, i find the backrooms really interesting so i might upload more like this 😁
