Fuyuki's POV
Why'd I say that? I've never had a mate before, I guess it was just in the heat of the moment decision. I couldn't control myself and lashed out on him, but I don't think I was completely in the wrong, he was overstepping his boundaries and tried to leave me just when I was starting to trust him. I stare at his body as my tail was still inside of him, he wasn't moving so I assumed he passed out I didn't even want to look at him, so I yanked my tail out while transforming back and left him on the cold floor instead of taking him to his tent. I went and sat in a corner watching it, I didn't want to drop my guard and go to sleep because what if he wakes up and tries to run for it? Not that he has the strength to but.. still. After a time of sitting and observing him, a flood of guilt washed over me. I couldn't sit still and began pacing around the cave, contemplating if whether or not I should wrap my tail around him to keep him warm or at least cover up the cuts. No.. I shouldn't spoil him, that's why we even got into this huge mess to begin with. The sun started to rise after what felt like only an hour and I had to go out hunting. It was rather early, but I remembered that Miro made some really good fish and showed me that they were in the river nearby the cave so that's where I went. When I made it to the river I stood near the edge waiting for the right time to strike. I caught a few fish with my tail and transformed so I can have legs, I made my tail into a bowl like shape and dipped it in the water so I can bring it to Miro. I doubt he'll be able to come here with his current condition. That thought made my stomach turn a little, but I tried to brush it off and focus on getting back home. I headed straight home to make sure he was still there; I was still frustrated and in a bad mood from Miro and the lack of sleep. You know... I really did my best to make him feel safe and I did the most for him but all he did in return was run away. I made it back home and saw Miro in the same position he was in when I left. I put the fish down, but I didn't know where to put the water, so I just continued to carry it. I made my way to Miro and crouched down and touched his skin, he was very cold, very cold. Typically, this temperature was normal for us snakes, so I didn't know if it was a threat or not, but I didn't pay any attention to it. I shook him a little trying to wake him up, but he just wouldn't budge, I was starting to get annoying like why won't you wake up? He's overreacting.
I was actually planning on eating with him when he wakes up but since he's acting like that, I'll just eat before him. No big deal. Miro overslept and didn't get to eat so I just let him be, maybe humans sleep in a lot? It was getting really hot outside and carrying this water was starting to become so fucking annoying. I'm doing all of this just so he could drink some water. Fuck it, I'll just put him in his tent cause I didn't want to see him right now. I dragged him by his foot using my hands since my tail was off limits right now and threw him inside. I'll just check up on him later.
Miro's POV:
I woke up in my tent and my body was aching, the blood has stopped but I was in so much pain I was about to start sobbing on the spot. The littlest movements opened up wounds and cuts, I couldn't even curl my body up for comfort, so I just had to lay there with my eyes shut tightly. I tried to slowly open them and that's when I saw Fuyuki's shadow hovering over my tent.. My breathing quickly increased, and he grabbed the entrance of the tent and yanked it to the side to face me. I was petrified, I held my breath for a few seconds just looking at him. My lower lip was shaking and my body was so cold, my heart was racing and my body parts are slowly going numb from fear. He looked me up and down then clicked his tongue, he reached his hand out and I jolted in fear. I didn't even mean to do that but when I slowly looked up at him he quickly grabbed me by my wrist and pulled my whole body out of my tent.
"FUYUKI PLEASE! IT HURTS LET GO! I CAN'T MOVE!!"
"What the fuck are you so scared for, why are you overreacting."
