Mori's POV:
Seeing Fuyuki burst inside the house like that froze me, I knew he was coming, and I knew I can't get away from him. I was terrified thinking about having to go back home with him and get beat for the slightest wrong actions. The village leader told me everything these snakes are capable of and that convinced me even more to stay here. Fuyuki just looked at him with such blood lust and it didn't take much to notice the blood was on his neck. He called for me but all I could do was hide behind the leader, my body moved on its own out of fear and I was just doing whatever to keep myself protected. I can see the betrayal in his eyes and it was slowly replaced with anger. The instant wave of regret hits me and I suddenly felt weak in the lower part of my body. That's it, he's going to kill the whole village then beat me to death, I'm calling it. Fuyuki shot out his tail and wrapped it around my waist then pulled me to his side. He was too fast for me to react; I was too focused on my death and how it's going to play off rather then moving. His tail was tightening itself around my waist and I was slowly feeling the air getting sucked out of my lungs. The angrier he got, the more he squeezed. I even felt his tail grow in size so not only is it wrapped around my waist, but it was also making its way up my chest. I tried to squeeze out, but it was too tight to even move in I knew there was no hope in trying to do that, the room was so intense I felt like I was in a movie and was getting ready to go into war or something. There we're people behind Fuyuki and everyone was running in slow motion, maybe I'm started to hallucinate from not getting enough air? Maybe it's because I haven't had a proper meal in what felt like forever. I could see everything but at the same time, nothing. Their shouting became quieter and quieter and all I heard at that moment was Fuyuki's Sigh.
"Sigh fine."
All the sounds that we're once pitched, came flooding back to me. The sound of the villagers running, screaming, the sound of the footsteps behind me and in front of me. Everything was back like I got a new set of hearing.
"I'll kill him, right here and right now." He said while firming holding a scale up to my neck. I didn't realize it was his scale until I saw the color of it, I don't think I remember seeing him rip it out. Everyone stooped in their tracks not knowing what to do without the leader's order, he wasn't actually going to kill me, right? Obviously he can't, no it's not that he can't it that he won't.
"Listen, I'm not here to mess around or play with you. Either I kill him, or we both leave unharmed.
"And how do you expect us to believe you'd actually kill your mate?" The leader said.
"Why wouldn't I?"
...
"You just wouldn't."
The leader provoked him as he held the scale closer to my neck and slit a thin layer of my neck, blood instantly started dripping down my neck, I didn't realize his scale's could be his sharp... My neck started to sting as he didn't move the scale from my neck after cutting it.
"You want to test that I mean, maybe I don't want to kill him, maybe I want to eat a limb or 2."
"WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM!! YOU SNAKES ARE GOING THIS FAR JUST TO HURT YOUR MAKES!? DISGUSTING!!" I heard Chiko yell in the back.
"Let them leave unharmed." The leader said.
"B..but sir-" The 3 girls called.
"Let's say he was serious, and he ripped of a limb, he's always small and weak. You think taking a limb would make it any better?"
"WE'RE TAKE CARE OF HIM!"
"What about the shock? Many have died because of the shock and losing too much blood."
