Upon hearing the sound of the foreign voice, (Name) froze, her hands instinctively cradling Feme closer to her, Adil now on high alert from the unsolicited visitor. However after finally recognizing the face as Ramses they both collectively slackened their jaw, Adil sensing the sudden hostility in the air. "Oh, Prince-I mean, Pharaoh Ramses. W-what a surprise!" Adil stammered as his eyes went round, swiftly making his way to open the gate of the property out of fear Ramses would kick it down if he had to enter. Even though he had delivered palace horses to the family, not once had he ever met Ramses or anyone royal in the flesh. (Name) drew her brows together, an expression of disdain present and she stood her ground. "What are you doing here Ramses?" (Name) demanded firmly, trying her hardest for her voice not to waver from the sight of him. He was aghast, his eyes flashed in longing and betrayal. "I-" before he even tried to explain, he pointed out the elephant in the room. "The horse breeder?" he asked breathlessly, nothing sounding cohesive to what he was actually trying to say. "I didn't ask where you are, I asked why are you here?" (Name) grew aggravated not catching on to what he was insinuating, Adil awkwardly caught in the middle of their exchange.

Ramses sighed before gesturing to the sling. "You had a baby with the horse breeder?" He accused completely running over her question, the words alone making him feel weak. "Wha-first of all his name is Adil, and second, are you mad!?" she jeered as Adil couldn't help but sputter out a laugh after seeing both of their reactions, quickly shutting up when he saw Ramses' brows knit sternly. "Well I'm sorry (Name), it's just that's what it looks like to me!" Ramses tried in a sarcastic tone before Adil interjected when Feme began to get fussy from the cacophony of voices. Before (Name) could come close to slapping him in the face Adil played pacifist, stepping in front of her with a nervous laugh. "Ohh, I see! I think there seems to be a misunderstanding your highness...(Name) is very nice and all but not the mother of my daughter." he reasoned before helping take the sling off of (Name) and wearing it himself to relax Feme who was now bawling. "What?" Ramses said beneath his breath. "I babysit for Adil and his wife." (Name) crossed her arms over her chest petulantly while emphasizing the word 'wife', Ramses feeling his face flush with embarrassment.

"Oh...I just assumed that-never mind." he straightened his posture, reminding himself that he must conduct himself as the new Pharaoh. "I sincerely apologize, both of you. I was being ignorant." He spoke, his forehead creasing in fear that he just put a new strain on their already crumbling relationship due to the look on her face."Get out Ramses." she said lowly, as her index finger drummed on her left bicep restlessly. "(Name) look I'm sorry, I'm sorry about saying yes to Sara, I'm sorry that you had to leave. Come on, can we please just talk? I'll explain everything, trust me." Ramses lent her a gentlemanly hand, to which she stubbornly refused as if he had just offered her poison instead. Feme continued to relentlessly cry, setting off just the right amount of chaotic ambiance that was fitting for this moment. "Uh, well I'll be inside if you need me, baby's getting a little cranky." Adil chuckled nervously before urging (Name) on with a half encouraging half threatening look. "Talk to him!" he mouthed before disappearing behind the sheet of cloth that hung over the door frame, leaving the two to fend for themselves.

(Name) practically looked ready as a crocodile ready to rip him to shreds, reluctantly stepping closer without the help of his hand. "You have one minute." she muttered, Ramses scoffing out a laugh in return. "That's ridiculous, you can't be-and now you're counting," he grumbled. "59, 58..." she counted, rolling her eyes elsewhere as Ramses held back a sharp sigh and pinched the bridge of his nose before he began. "The proposal was a big set-up that my father and those two idiot priests orchestrated. Neither my mom nor I...or even Sara knew the full truth. So when I was put on the spot I said yes because I was scared. Later that night, I spoke to my mother and I finally came to my senses." He paused, looking for any response in her body language."Anyways-the next morning, I tried to find you but...you were already gone. After my mother showed me the letter and I learned why you and your mother left, I snapped at my father because I was just so fed up with him. But, things got out of hand, I stressed him out too much and...he had a heart attack. He fell ill for months." He explained as her expression softened, his tone reminiscent of times when he would rant from the statue of his father and she would listen from below.
