   JOSHUA

She is sleeping right there on my bed while I had to sleep on the floor. I don't really give up my bed to complete strangers but I made an exception for her. After staring at her for a whole minute, I see her getting sweaty and her facial expressions changing from tranquil to disturbed. I walked over to my bed and sat down beside her. I was fighting the urge to not wake her up. Just then she opened her eyes with a shock. She looked worried and her eyes still looked full of sleep. When she saw me, she did not say a word. We only an eye contact for 20 seconds and then she again fell back to sleep. I kept wondering what she was dreaming about that made her to scared while walking into the kitchen to make breakfast.

"Who are you and where am I?" I heard a voice from behind. I turned around and she was standing behind me with her arms crossed and confusion on her face while scanning my unorganized kitchen with her big brown eyes.

"Hello. I'm Joshua and right now you're standing in my apartment." I answered.

"I'm Clara and will you please tell me what the hell am I doing in your apartment wearing your shirt I suppose?" I felt like she was getting mad at me for some reason. I rescued her, if anything she should be grateful instead of angry.

"What is the last thing you remember?" I ask her while completely ignoring the question's she asked me with her rough tone.

"I seriously do not care for this shit. I'm leaving." She started to walk out of my kitchen. I had started to not like her very much.

"Hey wait." I ask her to stop. She stops and turns around to face me.

"Yesterday we were at the same party and a guy named Ryan drugged you. We bumped into each other because you were not able to walk straight. I held you so that you don't fall but then you fainted so I carried you and bought you back to my apartment. And if you remember, you were roaming topless last night. That's why I put on my shirt on you." I explained to her with a comforting and soft tone. She looked puzzled and worried.

"Why would Ryan drug me?" She asked herself out loud.

"Do you know Ryan?" I ask her with growing eagerness.

"Not personally. I met him yesterday in the middle of the road and gave him a lift to the party." She replied.

Clearly that lift turned into a whole lot of drinking and dancing. I did not know what to say. I had so many questions in my mind. Why would Ryan drug her? Is she somehow connected to my case? Was she a member for his gang? Why am I helping her?

According to my study and research that I had done on the United Kingdoms most wanted criminal and drug dealer. I know that Ryan does not just do something without having an intention or benefit of his own. Even if that meant killing innocent people for his sake.

"Hey. Thank you so much for helping me out. I'll head out now." She said while I was busy with my own thoughts. I could not let her go now knowing that she is connected to my case and can be of use to me.

"No, hold on. I'm making breakfast. Go and take a shower while I prepare food. I'll keep fresh clothes outside for you." I spoke.

She just gave me a soft half smile and a nod and went to take a shower while I returned back to making scrambled eggs and bacon. I had decided to stick with her because if Ryan really did have anything to do with her, he would try to reach her again.

I served the breakfast on the dining table while she sat there with her wet hair which smelled like coconut and wearing my oversized t-shirt and my track pants. She looked so cute in my clothes. She just sat there with an intense look on her face while having her breakfast. I was finding it very difficult to focus on eating while she sat beside me. I was intrigued by this woman and her face was just so beautiful. So beautiful that I could stare at her all day and still be wanting more. None of us spoke for a long time until I asked her if she wanted a ride someplace.
