Fish (13 y/o)

It was a quiet Sunday in the Mountain.

Connor is watching static, Artemis is in the training room, M'gann is experimenting with some clothing designs, Kaldur is reading a book somewhere, and Wally and Dick are near the dock.

Speaking of the duo, they were trying to catch a fish. No one knows why but I'm pretty sure that they want to eat it.

Their rods were in the ocean while the duo were chatting and chilling to the ocean view.

Suddenly, Dick's pole dropped into the ocean, tugging on the line.

"WALLY!"

The redhead dropped his pole and started pulling on the ebony's line instead.

The line suddenly became lighter as some water drops splashed on them.

The duo looked at the fish flapping its fins and jumped on it.

Dick straightened out his hand and karate-chopped its head, knocking it out.

The duo sighed and unhooked the fish, taking it inside while smiling uncontrollably with Wally.

The sound of soft oil popping scattered around the kitchen as the duo stared subconsciously at the fish.

After a few seconds, Dick flipped the fish and let it cook on the other side.

The fried side was burnt and faint traces of blood was seen.

Dick sighed, not noticing Kaldur coming in closer to them out of curiosity.

"Wally! That is not how you cook fish!"

Wally looked at the younger, disagreeing.

"It looks fine to me?"

At this point, the duo was sweating, not knowing what to do.

"Did you even clean it? Look! There's blood and guts everywhere."

The ebony pointed at the blood that covered the pan.

"Eww, I think it's still raw though."

Dick took another look at the fish before pulling the older's face facing his.

"But it's BURNT!?"

Kaldur was beyond traumatized. He accidentally dropped his book, making his presence known. He paled and passed out of the terror of the misunderstanding.

Dick let go of Wally's face and squatted by the fainted blonde.

He poked his finger on his leader's face a few times before standing up and dragging the body to his room.

"Let's agree to check if anyone, especially Kaldur, is there before cooking fish again."

Wally nodded in agreement while chewing on the fish that is burnt while Artemis walked in, confused.

"Hey guys, where's Kaldur?"

The ebony took a glance at Artemis, before calmly replying.

"He passed out a long time ago, he's in his room."

Dick placed on his headphones and blasted out 'Shit' by boburnham on full volume while he heard Artemis scream something and dash out of the kitchen.

The ebony only saw the older do an action that looked like laughing so he laughed along with him.
