"Hope!!! Hope!! Please wake up!!" These were the last words I heard before blacking out I clutched the souvenir I bought for us hoping no one but Liz would take it. I tried to speak out loud and tell Liz I loved her and she was true friend .
*blacked out*
In the ambulance
I somehow managed to open my eyes . I saw Liz . She was covered in blood. Was she hurt too? Is she okay? Or is that my blood? She held my hand tightly , rubbing it. She saw me staring at her.
"Hope its okay I'm here for you. Don't worry we will get you back to normal so you can meet Idina okay?"
"I don't want to die . Not before meeting her." I said and passed out.
At the hospital
When I sort of came back to my senses I felt my hand emptied . I got worried . Where was it? I tried to move a bit but just couldn't because it was hurting me. I searched for Liz around the room. She was sitting on a sofa near by.
"Good morning hun how are you feeling?" She asked .
"LIZ YOUR STILL WEARING THOSE GLASSES AND HAT COME ON!!??"
"Answer my question Hope!" She said sternly.
"I am better but it hurts when I try to move. What happened ? All I remember is that I bought that ... No! WHERE IS IT??!?"
I panicked almost getting out of bed to find it.
"Hope calm down . I have it . And thank you its beautiful." She said smiling at me . "Thank God!" I sighed in relief.
The doctor came in to check on me . He read some reports and stuff. He asked I was feeling. And told me what I had broken and what was not broken .
"Who is responsible for her? A friend? Family member?" The doctor asked.
"I'm here alon...."
"I am! I am her friend. Best friend. I think." Liz said cutting me off.
I just stared blankly at what just happened.
"Okay Miss...."
"Elizabeth" Liz said
"Miss Elizabeth, I need to talk to you outside."
"Doctor if its about money then I will pay them for myself." I said . Liz just glared at and told me to shut up.
"Yes doctor what is it?" Liz asked
"Can we speak outside for a moment?"
Liz nodded and went outside. I tried to see what's going on but all I saw was just there shadows moving around.
When Liz came back she didn't talk. I tried to ask and talk a bit but I got no reply .
I told her that she should go back to the hotel and get some rest but she wouldn't listen to me but guess what I won . I forced her back to the hotel. While I laid in bed waiting for her. She came back soon.
"We should have pizza. What do you think Liz? " I asked .
"Rule numeber one : never say no to pizza!" She said imitating me . We ordered pizza ate a lot and had a good time.
"Hope, I hope your happy ." I started signing defying gravity, she laughed at me and said seriously.
"Hope, I hope your actually happy. I want you to be happy and live your life to the fullest."
"Why am I about to die?" I joked
"No! Of course NO!"
"Relax I know I'm just joking." I said as I felt that she got tensed when I said that.
It was late at night so we thought that we should sleep atleast Liz should because she had been restless since the whole accident happened . She went to sleep on sofa. And I just laid in bed with my brain occupied with Idina and Liz .
I barely slept which I knew would happen. The next morning Liz was giving me a lot of pills to swallow down and when I asked for what each one is she just said that they were pain killers. It was Wednesday and I had to get all better for Saturday so that Liz and I could continue out journey.
"I'm sorry for ruining your vacation here in London." I said to Liz feeling bad that she had to stay here for me.
"You don't need to apologize Hope. If it weren't for you I wouldn't be here instead I would have been in my grave rotting up. I'm the one who should be sorry . I should have been careful while crossing the road."
"I ask forgiveness for the things I've done you blame me for..." I sang hoping Liz would continue but instead
"Not happening Hope!" Was the reply I got.
"Come on Liz sing with me." I pleaded
"No Hope. Not happening not even in a million years."
"I don't think I will live that long."
"Hope!" Liz said hitting me on my foot I faked crying like it had hurt me.
"Your such a drama queen!" Liz said
"What first you don't sing with me then you hit me and still I can't cry?" I said joking around .
The doctor came checked up a bit . And Liz and he again had 'the talk' outside the room. She came back and asked if I wanted some pizza I said
"Rule number one : ... Ah! Forget it I don't want pizza today we have been eating it since the last two day!"
"Fine what do you want to eat?"
"Rule number two : I will let you decide."
She rolled her eyes, laughing a bit.
"Hey Hope , I have a surprise for you someone might pay a visit to you tomorrow."
"Who is it? Noway its not Idina! Is it?"
"Of course no! How can she play two roles at a time?"
"What do you mean?" I asked in confusion.
".. forget that the point is someone is coming to meet you."
"You know Idina is playing two roles right now?"
"What do you mean?!?!?" She asked.
"In IF/THEN she plays Liz and Beth that are two separate women that chose different paths if life." She sighed
"Okay you crazy Idina freak. Now go to bed Hope."
"Good night Liz . "
"Night Hope." She said yawning
"Thanks for everything Liz " I said before falling asleep. But two things kept bugging me One what are 'The talks' which Liz and the doctor having about? And two who is this mysterious person who's coming tomorrow.
"Rise and shine Hope . He's about to be here any minute now." I was woken up by Liz
"Who is this mysterious person Liz tell me alread..." We were interrupted by the nurse.
" Ms. Elizabeth he's here." She said and Liz nodded.
"Okay I will go get him inside so you both can meet." Liz said and left.
I didn't feel so good . I had a really bad feeling about this .
Wait no way. It can't be him .Who is he ? Is it him
Liz please I hope you didn't call him here!!
