Deaf Interpreter (ERERI)

Levi's POV

A fire started when I was 10. I then been deaf since the fire. During the fire, my mom and dad passed away.

I am now 17. Living with Erwin Smith. How? Well I was put into an orphanage when I was taken away from my parents. I stayed in there for 3 whole years. I was 13 when they took me in.

I was grateful, but nervous. Why would they want someone like me? I couldn't hear... I was a disappointment.

I have a cousin Mikasa Ackerman. She was living with me and my parents. During the fire she had saved me. We were both put into an orphanage. She was taken before me after I told her to agree to go instead of staying with me...

She was taken by a single mother with one son, her son looked around the age of 15. She also sent me notes from her new home, describing the outside life. I always sent notes back.

We were taken from eachother for too long. But now, we are back together due to the fact her and her family moved here, Europe.

Now we will be attending the same schools and I can finally see her tomorrow!

"So schools starting back up... What classes did you get?" Erwin asked by signing.

"I got into choir again, of course" I said calmly.

So you may ask... Levi your deaf, how the fuck are you speaking so normally? Well, I might now sound right, but to me, personally, speaking is easy, just sometimes I might sound like a total idiot, and sound like someone mumbling. Or even sometimes I would be yelling. But still, I didn't care how I sounded to people. I still spoke when I wanted to.

"Awesome! You have a perfect voice!" Erwin smiled widely. I can also read lips if I pay close attention.

I smiled at him a bit.

Even though I was deaf, I knew what I wanted to do. Sing. My mom use to sing a lot when she was younger. I wanted to continue her journey she didn't accomplish when she met my father. They had focused on getting money instead of trying to become someone famous for money and stuff.

I almost feel bad because when I was born everything came to an end...

I was snapped out of my memories when Erwin stood up. "I'm sleepy, I guess we should go to bed early so we can be ready for school." He signed.

"Hell." I signed with a scowl.

He chuckled as he walked towards me and helped me up like he usually does. I walked infront of him as he stood at my door. He wished me goodnight as he watched me pull my my self up and onto my bed.

I yawned as I laid back on my bed pulling my pants down leaving me in my boxers. I pushed myself up and under my blankets.

I then lay upwards as I look up. I can't wait to see Mikasa tomorrow...

3rd POV

"LEVIIII!" Hanji ran into Levi's room. She forgot that Levi had no hearing, so she jumped on him and shook him. His eyes opened up and he looked like a mad man.

"What the fuck do you want Hanji! And who let you in!" He signed fast showing he was pissed.

"Ms. Smith did! Plus, wake up! We have school remember?!" I read her lips.

I almost forgot... I glanced at the time. "WHY THE FUCK DIDNT ERWIN WAKE ME UP?!" Levi yelled. Hanji giggled, Levi knew why. She thinks his voice is funny. Not in a mean way, nor does Levi feel hatred towards Hanji for laughing, she's always been like that. It was 7:45. School starts at 8:10. After realization...

"OH SHOOT ERWIN!" Hanji yelled as she rushed out the room. This meant Levi and Erwin were both knocked the fuck out!

Levi got up quickly, stumbling over his blankets on the floor. He ran into the bathroom pulling all
of his clothes down and up and off.

Levi was rushing downstairs side by side with Erwin. Levi signed, "HURRY WERE LATE!" Though Levi couldn't yell as much, Erwin knew by the fast and exaggerated faces, he was yelling and rushing.

Hanji was outside already in her car. They ran to the doors and tried to open it but it was lock. "HANJI THE DOOR." Erwin yelled.

"OH OH!" Hanji chuckled loudly as Levi got into the car.

After all of that, they made it to school. They were 5 minutes early surprisingly. But Levi didn't care about the time now. He was looking all around for Mikasa.

He looked all around the crowded halls on his tippy toes with his friends behind him. Sometimes he would have to check to see if they were still there since he couldn't hear.

Soon he saw someone pushing through the crowds. They were tall with raven hair just like Levi's. She stopped dead in her tracks. Levi looked at her and his eyes widened. Mikasa. His cousin who was taken from him!

He didn't run to her but he walked fast. Mikasa ran to him. They hugged tightly. Levi hasn't felt happy in forever. He also hasn't felt happy tears. But now he was feeling them. He knew people around him were saying awe and some were confused but he didn't care. He was happy.

He wiped his tears as they pulled back.

"I've missed you so much!" Signed Mikasa.

"I've missed you too." He signed back with a small smile.

Someone then came from behind her. He was tall, brown hair, which he probably would just took a shower due to the fact how it was curly curly and still dripping wet... He also had beautiful ocean eyes.

She noticed Levi's staring and turned around. She then pulled away from him even more and went over to him. "This is Eren, he's my brother! Remember when we were at the orphanage and he was there with his mom?" She signed with a big smile.

Levi nodded with a small frown.

"Why is he here? He's much older than us." Levi signed with a confused look.

"Well.." She spoke so I read her lips. "He's a deaf interpreter. He's here to help you through these times because I know it's hard for you to understand sometimes." She wasn't wrong... But she should've asked him first!

Levi looked at him. He gave him a warming smile and signed as he walked to Levi. "It's nice to meet you, I'm Eren Yeager. I will be your deaf interrepter." He stopped signing and dropped his hand out for Levi to shake it.
