Deaf Interpreter (ERERI)

38. 🎶 (HEARING.)

The title says for this chapter says, "Hearing." We are not in the deaf part of the book anymore.

Levi has his hearing back (Not logical, but it's a book, who cares.)

We sat down with our choir class again, this time we were more in a good angle to see the concert. Everyone who was performing today did really good.

But, me and Eren.. We did something for my song. Eren isn't only gonna be up there to conduct for me, he's also going to-

"Alright guys! Up! Up! Up!" Ms Tina took me out of my thoughts as we stood up.

We began to walk, this time I can hear my friends cheering loudly and proudly.

Eren and I were leaning against the wall patiently waiting and everytime someone came out of the stage, we cheered them on for doing so well.

Eren and I started to get bored and I felt like making the girls jealous. I started to kiss Eren and he kissed me back. I can hear the girls getting annoyed which made me smirk between his lips.

Eren straddled me to the wall and lifted his leg up to mess with my rising erection. The kiss was long until we pulled apart, our saliva dripping from our mouths.

We pretended like that didn't just happened before getting on stage and singing our hearts out..

We got cheers and claps but no standing ovation which I was find with, we usually get the most cheers!

We all got meows from our friends this time which was highly embarrassing.

"Alright up Levi, your the last one on the list it's your turn in atleast 10 minutes go go go!" Ms Tina piled me up with Eren. My class cheered for me and Eren, well probably for Eren the most but I don't care.

We went towards the line and waited patiently. I wasn't nervous, I was actually happy! I think Eren sensed that I was so happy.

I got my hearing back.. I feel more confident with my voice I guess..

Everything is perfect. For now..

"Let's all give around of applause for Eren and Levi!" The person with the microphone spoke as we ran up the steps and to the stage. Everyone cheered and Eren and I stood next to eachother. Eren then moved to the other side and started to give a thumbs up to play the music. Then it started..

(Levi is italic, Eren is bold, Eren and Levi are both Italic and Bold.)

"White hair and white shoes.. Neoprene breached around a faded blue.. Do what you can with me, and do it quietly... As you do, as you do.. As you do! Ashes ashes, dust to dust. I think I found a.. Place for us.. It's down by garden after dark, it's in my arms it's in my.. Arms.." Everyone cheered before I continued.. "And I cannot say a word to you like this.. Wanna see you, wanna see you, wanna see you, wanna see you, wanna see you, but I gotta resist. Do what you can with me, and do it quietly. As you say as you say, as you say! Ashes ashes, dust to dust I think I found a.. Place for us. It's down by garden after dark, it's in my arms it's in my arms..."

I got more cheers and Eren smiled widely at me. "Ashes ashes.. Dust to dust, I think I found a... Place for us! It's down by garden, after dark, its in my arms it's in my.." Eren stood next to me now which confused everyone and he sung with me like and echo. "Ashes ashes, dust to dust! I think I found a.. Place for us! It's down by garden, after dark, it's in my arms it's in my..." We split up.. "Ashes ashes, dust to dust, I think I found a.. Place for us! It's down by garden after dark its in my arms it's in my.." (2x times) "Valley.. Under me, can you tell me it's all wrong till it gets to me.. Ah-ooh! Ah ah ooh! Oh, ashes ashes in my arms." (2x times) We dropped to the floor and hit the floor for the beats and sung, "Valley.. Under me! Can you tell me it's wrong till it gets to me? Ah-ooh! Ah ah ooh.. Oh, ashes ashes in my arms..." We stopped the clapping and fisting motions.

We stayed still for a second before we stood up and held hands. Everyone was quiet. And this all meant,

"WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!" Standing ovation.

Me and Eren were panting, not because we were tired but because we were nervous, but we calmed down when everyone stood up and clapped.

Eren and I didn't waste not time to jump up and down on stage. We hugged tightly and kissed before we heard our friends "MEOWWWWWWW! LETS GO LEVI! MEOW MEOW MEOW" I cringed but pretended I didn't hear it.

We stood at the mic and ended off our greetings. "Thank you so much for the standing ovation." I started as smiled. I looked at Eren then at the crowd. "I'm so glad this was the best last highschool year for me.. I've also gained a miracle. And to end this off for the night, Ive got my hearing back.. Some way some how." I noticed the stares from the side. Eren's mouth opened and I continued to speak, "It's crazy right..? How did I get my hearing back after almost 9 years.. I don't know.. Maybe it's because I found him.." I turned to Eren. It was quiet. People were shocked but I didn't care. He was shocked that's for sure. He had closed his mouth but didn't say anything. "Even if, this was my last day of hearing one more time, I wouldn't have changed it any better. I've got to hear all of you guys sing, do your instruments watch your plays.. I enjoyed it.. And most importantly, I got to hear myself sing... Anyway... That's how I'm ending this off.. Thank you for an awesome night." I winked at the crowd before grabbing Eren's hand and walking off the stage like a badass.

I heard cheering and I dropped down to my knees. I almost felt shaky and a moment of relief fly across me.

I heard running and I looked up to see my friends. We're they crying?

"LEVI YOU GOT YOUR HEARING BACK!"Mikasa yelled with Hanji. Everyone hugged me and yelled in my ear to which I rolled my eyes at. That's gonna leave a ring in my eardrums.

They let go and asked me how I enjoyed their voices and I called them all annoying before I turned to Eren.

Eren wasn't there though.. Where had he gone?

"Where did he go..?" I breathed out as I slowly stood up. "Is he mad at me?"

"No." Mikasa started. "Eren is nervous and I can tell when I saw his face drop. He's happy, that's for sure, but I think the sudden shock got him.. He's always been a bit insecure about his voice, we don't know why, he sounds fine, but that's just how he is.. He probably ran outside. Go get him!"

"Yeah go get him tiger!" Jean slapped my back to which I glared at him and he stepped back throwing his hands up in defense. I rolled my eyes and jogged out of the hall ways and outside.

I saw Eren standing there looking at the distance. "Eren..." I said quietly as I walked over to him.

He seemed to tense up. "Yeah?" He signed.

"Talk to me. You don't need to sign anymore." I smiled once he turned around.

He hugged me tightly but no words came out of his mouth.

"I've had my hearing for at least 2 weeks now.." He let go.

"So you've heard me speak..?" He signed. "You heard what mom said yesterday...?" He signed again.

I nodded and smiled. "I don't care about that though! Just let me hear you again. You did so good on stage I loved hearing you sing." He smiled and breathed out.

"I don't know why I was so nervous to let you hear my voice." He spoke shakily. "But I'm so happy you have your hearing!" He kissed me all over my face and I giggled slightly.

The night went on with everyone cheering me on with me getting my hearing back.

All of my friends decided not to go to school tomorrow which I agreeded... I know annoying people would ask me about my hearing.

Eren and I were getting use to this new hearing thing. He realized the things he said before he couldn't say anymore because he would get nervous.

"I HEARD YOU JEAN." I yelled at jean and threw my pillow at him. "WHEN YOU ASKED ME HOW BIG I WAS YOU GAY LORD." I said as I threw my pillows at him.

Eren laughed loudly and covered his mouth. He was shy about his laughing too but I found it cute.

For the rest of the night, we had fun.. It was a good fun too. I enjoyed having my hearing back, I didn't feel so alone..
