"Hey mom!" I said happily as I ran over to her.

She pushed me back and started to walk off. At the time I was still pretty young at thirteen, I didn't understand why she didn't hugged me.

I followed behind her and go to hold her hand but she shook me off.

We were driving for awhile once we got inside the car. I didn't understand where we were going. But when we arrived we walked inside. I stood besides her and saw Mikasa.

We adopted her and I noticed you. Levi.. "Mom,
let's get him!" I smiled widely as I pointed towards you. You didn't pay attention though, instead you looked at the floor like you were sad..

"No Eren. We are here for your new sister."

I stared at Mikasa and smiled widely at her. I was fine with everything that was going on.

When we left, Mikasa seemed nervous and sad. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine.." She mumbled. She was still so younger than me. I hugged her and played with her hair. She seemed like the type of person to cry when anyone touched her, but she hugged me back and I felt happy.

When we got home I was moved out of my room and it was now Mikasa's room. I was sad about it but then again, Mikasa needed her space more than I did.

I had to sleep on the couch after that. Very uncomfortable if I have to say. There was times where mom never made me food and only maded food for Mika.

I choose to ignore it and stayed happy.

One day there was a knock on the door. My dad was standing there with flowers in his hand. My mom and dad went through a tough time when I was born. They split up when I was 5.

My mom loved my dad so very much. Maybe that's where I got my bad deeds from. My dad. My dad abused my mother and hurt her. But everytime he came back she would love him and forgive him. Just like cece and I.

But finally my dad changed. He hugged her so tightly and they cried. Mikasa and I were so very confused. But after sometime, Mikasa understood so quickly. She was so smart, way smarter than me..

My dad was introduced to her. He hugged her and threw her around with a big smile. When he got to me, he stared at me like I was nothing to him.

I didnt get any hugs, no kisses on the cheek, no hellos, just a stare.

I guess you can say when everyone went to sleep I would cry on the couch and hide my face from everyone.

There was this one time I turned 14. On my birthday, dad took me down to the basement. I thought there was going to be a gift but instead, he gave me bruises.

I cried on my birthday all day down in the basement. Mikasa came down with food and gave it to me. "Eat." She demanded.

Though I was way older than her, at the time she seemed older than me. Mikasa cared for me but my parents didn't..

I use to envy Mikasa. She was adopted, I was their real child and they didn't like me.

Mikasa and I were close though, I was never mad at her for getting all the attention. She still was young and needed attention.

But anytime I would try to play with Mikasa, I was pushed out of her room and had to go clean or something.

I thought my mom and dad would've hated me forever. But soon, they started to give me attention again. They cared for me, fed me, let me play with Mikasa, let me sleep in Mikasa's room. They let me do all of that.

But till this day, I still never understood why. They apologized to me repeatedly and I forgave them but I didn't understand why they were so mad at me for 3 years straight.

But I was glad it came to and end.. I've tried to ask them why they were mad at me but they never responded and they changed the subject. I gave up on trying to figure out why. I was just glad it was over...

I finished my little sad story and I looked at Levi. He was crying...? Why?

"Are you okay?" I signed as I pulled him onto my lap.

"Was your story sad..?" He asked quietly.

"Yeah.. How'd you know?" I raised an eyebrow at him.

"I can tell because you fidget with your hands when your sad. You also bump your knee up and down." He signed with a frown.

I wiped his tears away. "It's okay. I'm good though." I smiled at him.

The bell rang and I stood up with him in my arms. I then put him down and he continued to wipe his eyes. I laughed a bit, "Stop crying, Atleast you didn't hear it baby!" I kissed all over his face not really caring if we're late.

"Im sorry I just can't.." He cried some more. I sighed and picked him back up, leaning him against the wall. I kissed him passionately before pulling back.

"It was a long time ago, i'll shorten it out for you. My mom disliked me, my dad disliked me, they loved Mikasa, overtime they changed and started to give me attention again. But it was so long ago, everything is fine, Im happy, they happy, Mikasa's happy and most importantly, you're happy." I kissed his tears away. The last bell rang and now we were officially late.

I dropped Levi and he hugged me before we left out the room and went to the office to get pass. We then went to his class and walked to his seat.
