Ladybug swung her yo-yo without even looking, letting it take her anywhere else but in front of Chat. Tears started to form in her eyes as she couldn't believe what Chat had just done. Luckily, she saw nothing, but she was upset over the fact that Chat thought it was okay to reveal his identity.

She eventually went home, wiped away her tears, and thought about her next move. Do I confront him? Or will he just try to reveal himself yet again?

"Marinette, you will figure out what to say to him later, but for now, why don't you just relax? Worrying about this won't change the outcome. And regretting the kiss can't change the past."

"I know Tikki, I am just more conflicted than ever."

"Talk to Alya about it tomorrow. You should come clean about your true feelings, too."

Marinette nodded and texted her to meet her at her terrace tomorrow night.

"Marinette!!" A distant scream yelled. Rena hopped over the buildings making her way to Marinette, who was patiently waiting for her arrival.

"Hey! I am so glad you could make it... there's a lot we need to talk about."

Rena immediately jumped in.

"We need to leave now, there is an akumatized person back at the Eiffel tower!"

Marinette became immediately frustrated that her time with Alya was now cut short, but she remembered why she did this, to save Paris, and Chat could wait. She transformed and followed Rena to where the akumatized person was.

They ran quickly toward the tower, and Ladybug could see the villain already creating havoc.

"This seems serious, should I get the others to help?" Asked Rena.

"Don't call Chat. I don't want to see him right now."

"Did something happen? Is this about the kiss?"

"Yes, we will talk later. I just can't have that kind of distraction tonight."

Rena nodded.

"I'll be in the shadows watching and giving you updates. I will let you know if a senti monster pops up."

Ladybug began swinging her yo-yo at the villain, who appeared to be an old librarian who was upset over the people continuing to be disruptive in the library. Her cane, which she was using to walk, had turned into a large medal staff that was now being used as a weapon against Ladybug.

"I am Quiet Queen! With my cane I shall silence you forever! No one will ever talk in my library again!"

The villain hit bystanders who immediately lost the ability to scream and frantically ran away, trying to warn others. They were unsuccessful, as they had no ability to speak.

She aimed her cane toward Ladybug who jumped away, seeking shelter.

"Ladybug, you need to call Chatnoir. You can't touch the cane, and he needs to use his Cataclysm."

Ladybug, now kneeling behind a chimney, angrily contacted Chat.

"Chat, there is a villain with a cane you need to break. The akuma must be in there. Please, come quick. But don't get any ideas..."

She rolled her eyes before standing back up to continue to fight.

"There you are, M'lady."

"Stop Chat, there is no time for this. Her cane gets longer and stronger with everyone she hits. We need to be quick."

They started running toward the villain before Rena appeared.

"Let me help! I haven't used Mirage in so long, and my idea would work! I just need to-"

"No Rena! No time for silly practice."

Rena looked back at Ladybug angrily. Just when she thought she could start working with Ladybug more frequently, she had been tossed aside.

"Go behind that car and watch for us. Luckych-"

Rena pushed Ladybug to the ground before she could finish her sentence.

"Let me HELP!" She yelled at her.

Ladybug quickly stood up before turning towards Rena.

"Rena! What are you doing? We need to defeat the Quiet Queen. Her cane now has the power to knock one of us out. I need to focus! If you want to help so bad, then go b-"

WHAM

Quiet Queens cane had hit Ladybug, and hard. She collapsed to the ground, breathing heavily. She reached her hand out for help but fell back toward the concret, her eyes closing as her breaths became lighter.

"Rena! Look what you have done!" Yelled Chat, as he ran to Ladybugs side holding her hand to see if she could get up.

"I'm sorry, I was only trying to help. I got mad and..and..I acted out. I'm sorry Chat, let me help you-"

"You've done enough Rena. LEAVE." Chat snapped at her. He looked back down at Ladybug who had not yet opened her eyes. He moved the hair from her cheek and back down behind her shoulder, looking at her soft glowy skin.

He realized he was alone. With Ladybug passed out and Rena gone, he had to finish this himself.

"CATACLYSM!" He yelled, and charged toward Quiet Queens cane. The cane disintegrated and the butterfly flew out. He quickly found a littered jar on the ground and put the akuma inside, hoping that Ladybug would wake up soon to de-evilize it.

He ran over to her, swooping her up and jumping to a safe place to let her rest. He took her to the top of a tall skyscraper, where no one could see them. He placed her down, waiting for some sort of sign she was okay.

But at last, she did not move. This was Rena's fault, and he knew that. He knelt by her still body, holding her hand as he waited for her to wake up. She's beautiful. He thought to himself. No! What am I doing? She is my partner, nothing more. I know better than to get romantically involved with her. If Ladybug truly wanted me, she would not care for who is under the mask. When she wakes, I will let her know that I promise to stop all romantic advances, as I would rather never receive her love than to lose my Miraculous and never see her again.

Still, he looked at her fondly. He wondered when she would wake up.

"Ladybug?" He asked, starting to get worried as she had been out for a few minutes. He squeezed her hand, suddenly realizing how cold it felt.

"Ladybug!" He asked louder. No, no, no! He thought to himself. What should I do? What should I do?

Her earrings beeped which only made him panic more. He looked at her wide-eyed hoping she could wake up at any moment.

"Common Ladybug!" The sound of her last beep from the Miraculous started, and Ladybug began to detransform. He turned around as fast as he could, making sure he didn't see her return to her civilian form.

"Ughh.." He heard a groan but was careful not to turn around. "Ladybug?"

"No, it's..ugh-" The voice groaned in pain again. "It's Tikki."

"Tikki!" He said frantically. "Ladybug, is she okay??"

Tikki looked back at Marinette, who laid still on the cold ground.

"Oh no!" She gasped. "Chat, you need to get her out of here before someone sees her! She must have been knocked cold from the cane. Quick, take her to her room."

"But I'll see who-"

"Chatnoir, you need to go now. It was a head injury and she needs to lay in her bed, I'll watch over her there. Chat, please! Please, hurry!"

Chat's heart sank. Not only was he scared to see her identity, but he was scared he might lose her all together.

His heart began beating fast, and he turned to look at the girl laying on the ground.
