You woke up but you could barely move.
You were on the floor.
Your legs were tied together. Your arms were tied behind your back. There was tape over your mouth.
You were in a dark and musty basement with little light.
It seemed like a typical kidnapping.
And as victims typically felt, you were terrified.
You had no idea what happened or where you were now. You just knew you weren't safe.
You saw you weren't alone in the room.
There was a man sitting on an old, battered chair in the corner. He leaned forward and his face became visible in the light.
"I've been waiting for you to wake up" he smirked.
You pushed yourself into a sitting position and shuffled back to lean against the wall. Your back pressed into it as though the bricks would magically give way and you could escape through it somehow.
Unfortunately, that did not happen.
The man stood up and slowly walked towards you.
"You're probably wondering why you're here... but if I'm perfectly honest, I haven't decided yet."
You grew confused, but it wasn't like you could question it. You waited for him to explain.
"I was so careful with my plan to bring you here. I planned each part so carefully... blowing up your car as a threat, to worry you. I presumed your friends then tried to stop you performing, but of course I knew you are not one to let down your fans like that. I only half expected you to upgrade your security team, but it didn't put even the tiniest dent in my plan. No, I always had a way around them. I've been watching you for a while. I've been to every single one of your concerts. So I know your routine at the end of them. Have a drink, sometimes a snack, say hi to some fans, go home. I knew your routine, so I knew how to intercept it. Naturally, you get a drink first. So I set up shop. Quite literally. If I was the source of where your drink came from, it would be very easy to drug it. So that's what I did."
You knew your water tasted off. But you hadn't been the one to buy it...
"I have to admit, I was getting worried when I didn't see you for a while after the show. Then someone came to me, asking for a water, and I overheard him mention your name. The Winter Soldier and Iron Man. I knew the water was for you, so the second they both looked away, I switched it for one I had set aside just for you."
You were still terrified, but honestly a little bored of his monologging now. You wished you could say something. Though, if you were wishing for stuff, you wished you could be safe at home.
"As soon as they walked off, I closed down shop and followed them. And then they found you. My plan was working perfectly. I don't know if you remember the lights turning out. That was me. I rigged them to go off at the press of a button. A button I held in my pocket the entire time. I made sure I was close to you, of course, before pressing it. It was so easy for the rest of it. Dragging your body along the floor, no one even noticed. Stuffing you into one of those little food trolleys to hide you before the lights came back on. Pushed you out the room just as they did. No one knew a thing. I escaped to the kitchen where there was a back door that your friends didn't know about. Got you in my car and drove you away only five minutes after you went missing. And look how perfectly it turned out."
He grinned and knelt down in front of you. He picked up your chin in his hand and forced you to look at him. He cupped your cheek and brushed away the slow falling tears.
"Now you're mine."
You couldn't help crying a little more.
"So many possibilities of what I could do with you."
He sat down, next to you, leaning back against the wall as you were. You tried to shuffle away from him but didn't get very far.
There was no where to go.
"I could perhaps demand a ransom. You're a very valued person so I think I can make quite a deal of money. Or I could use you to set a trap for the avengers. We both know they'll try to find you. Not sure if they'll succeed but I should plan ahead. Then I could ask for more money, or I could do the world a favour and kill them."
Your eyes widened with fear. There was no way this one man could take on the avengers. But if he had managed to kidnap you when they were all around, you didn't know what he was capable of.
"Alternatively, I could just keep you all to myself. I will be the only person that can enjoy your sweet angelic voice from now on. I will be the only one who can enjoy your beauty, your body. It would be nice to have something so precious in my possession."
He looked at you with a malicious smirk. He turned himself in your direction. He crawled forward. You tried to move back away from him but slipped and fell on your back. He climbed on top of you.
"Don't worry. I'll enjoy this for the both of us."
