Two Days Later
You sat on the couch in the living room, your eyes drifting from the book you were reading on a glass tablet to Jungkook and Jaekook yelling at each other.
“SHOOT HIM C’MON!” Jungkook hollered, his voice echoing through the entire house.
“I’M TRYING” Jaekook yelled back, his fingers pressing the buttons on a controller rapidly. You rolled your eyes and stared back down at the screen of the tablet, unable to concentrate with all the yelling and screaming going on.
“YES WE WON!” Jungkook exclaimed as they both threw the glasses they were wearing off and high fived each other with excitement.
“You know what that means?” Jungkook grinned, staring at the twelve year old in front of him.
“What?”
“Banamilk!”
They both cheered and ran past you to the kitchen, their giggles heard from where you sat.
“I can’t do this anymore.” you ran your hand over your face, a headache building from the previous yelling. “At least they’re getting along now.” you grumbled, throwing the tablet aside and sighing to yourself once again.
The more time that both Jungkook and Jaekook spent together, the more you noticed how much alike they were, other than their appearances. They’d wake up, eat and then go straight to playing video games, which resulted in you having headaches from the amount of noise they made.
“Oh man, I wish there was a PlayStation 20X in 2019, I’d never stop playing.” you heard Jungkook’s voice nearby, noticing them walking back into the living room where you sat, both sipping on a bottle of bananamilk. “Hey Y/n, do you think it would be too obvious if I sneaked one when we travel back?” they both stared at you with their doe eyes, waiting for you to answer.
“Um, yes?” you replied. “Everyone would ask you where you got it, and it wouldn’t work because of the way its connected to the screen. We don’t have that technology yet.”
Jungkook’s lips curved down into a frown. “True.” he mumbled, sitting down next to you with a huff.
“Dad said that mom was always the smarter one.” Jaekook said, sipping on his banadamilk as you turned to Jungkook with a smirk.
Jungkook rolled his eyes “I need to have a serious talk with you dad.”
Suddenly the sound of a ringing filled the room, both you and Jungkook confused by where it was coming from.
Jaekook turned his wrist, his eyes going wide from the screen popping up reading "Mom"
"My parents are calling!" he exclaimed, looking your way. "What do we do?"
"They can't know about us. How much of the room do they see?" you asked.
"The whole room." Jaekook answered, the watch on his wrist still vibrating from the call. You grabbed Jungkook's arm and dragged him off the couch, catching him by surprise.
"Where are we going?" he asked.
"We're hiding."
"But I want to meet future me." he whined. You rolled your eyes and let go of his arm once turning the corner into a hall. You both stood around the corner, the ringing stopping soon.
"Jae! What's up buddy?" a familiar low voice said in the living room. Your heart pounded at the sound of the voice, your eyes glancing up at Jungkook who stared back down at you, the same shock in his eyes.
