Your eyes fluttered open, noticing the empty space beside you. You slightly frowned before watching the washroom door open, revealing Jungkook trying to dry his wet hair with a towel. He smiled once seeing you awake and walked over to you.
“Good morning beautiful.” he mumbled pressing a kiss to your lips. Your cheeks tinted pink as you gazed up at him.
“Good morning.”
“C’mon, get up before that little brat gets here.”
You giggled, reaching out your hand for him to pull you up.
“Such a lazy girlfriend I have.” he chuckled pulling you towards him and pecking your nose. You pouted and hit his chest before making your way towards the washroom.

You had just finished eating the french toast that Mia had made and watched Jungkook eat his third plate, and Jae still on his first.
“Does he still eat this much?” you asked Jae who looked up from his plate to you and nodded.
“Hey, I don’t eat a lot.” Jungkook argued.
“Yeah sure.” you muttered, crossing your arms playfully.
“So you guys are really leaving today.” Jaekook said, a bit of sadness evident in his voice.
“Yup.” you answered with a sad smile. You looked up at the clock, noticing it was time to leave. Once gathering all your things, the two of you stood by the front door, waiting for Jaekook.
“I kinda don’t want him to come.” you whispered to Jungkook. “I don’t want him to be left alone at the sea side and walk back by himself.” you bit your lip as you looked up at Jungkook.
“Is that mom side of you I’m hearing?” he joked as you rolled your eyes, hitting his shoulder.
“I’m serious Jungkook.”
“I know.” he sighed, “and I agree with you.”
“Should we tell him?”
He nodded. “He’s going to be really upset.”
“Upset about what?” Jaekook came down the stairs towards you, glancing at you both in confusion. Jungkook ran his fingers through his hair before kneeling down in front of him.
“Listen buddy, your mom and I have come to an agreement. We don’t want you walking back alone when we’re gone, so we think it would be best for you to stay here.”
A frown appeared on Jae’s face as he looked at you both.
“So you don’t want me to come?”
“Only for your safety, not that we don’t want you.” you answered softly. “You’re our responsibility, and we’d both hate for something to happen to you.”
He looked at the floor, clearly upset.
"Hey, don't make that face." Jungkook tilted his chin up. "Here," Jungkook reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone. "I want you to keep this."
Jaekook's eyes widened and looked at Jungkook then at the phone in his hand.
"Really?" he asked as Jungkook nodded with a smile.
"It'll remind you of us."
Jaekook grinned and hugged Jungkook tightly, catching him by surprise.
"Thank you."
Jungkook hugged him back, and smiled.
"Hey, I want a hug too." you pouted as they both giggled.
"I'll miss you." Jae said as he hugged you.
"We will too." you muttered, feeling another embrace around you both, and looked up to see Jungkook with his arms around you and Jae.
"It's time to go." you pulled yourself away from the younger boy with a sad smile.
"Don't forget us." you said stepping out of the house.
"I won't."
"Tell your dad I said hi." Jungkook added and Jae giggled.
"Okay I will."
You both turned your backs and began walking further from the home. You looked back and waved at Jae, and he waved back one last time before you both turned the corner to the road, and he closed the door.
You sighed, your heart feeling heavy as you left the boy you had grown attached to over the week. You heard a sniff and turned to Jungkook.
"Are you crying?"
"N-no. I got dust in my eye."
You laughed, and held his hand.
"You were a great father to him."
"You think so?" he asked, looking into your eyes.
You hummed in response and squeezed his hand. "You both got along, well, most of the time."
He rolled his eyes, yet a smile still escaped his lips.
"And you were a great mother."
"Eh, I was okay."
You both giggled, still unable to believe all that you had gone through that week. It was definitely a once in a million experience.
You both walked aside each other, admiring everything around you, and how it was much more different than your time.
"There he is." you pointed to the familiar man with his booth by the sea side.
"Ah, isn't it my favourite couple." the man noticed you both walking towards him. "I see you finally got the courage to ask her out." he continued, noticing your linked hands.
"That's none of your business." Jungkook spoke.
"You should be thanking me, otherwise none of this" he pointed to you both "would've happened."
"Whatever." Jungkook grumbled "Are you bringing us back or not?"
"I am. Just step into the booth." he pushed the curtain aside and you both stepped in, facing each other.
"Oh, and when you return, neither of you will remember a thing about traveling here."
"Really?" you asked and he nodded.
"Well, safe travels." he shut the curtain and left you both in the dark.
"Jungkook, he said we'll forget everything-"
"I know," he answered, "and I'm not going to let that happen." he whispered before leaning in and pressing his lips against yours. Your breath hitched at the sudden action, yet you wrapped your arms around him and kissed him back, his hand around your waist. His brows furrowed a moment later, feeling nothing but air in his arms. He opened his eyes and only found empty space in front of him in the dark booth. His heart raced as he looked around, pulling the curtain aside, finding the man a few feet away, nothing having changed.
"Where is she?" Jungkook asked, grabbing his attention as he combed his beard with his fingers.
"Oh, in 2019." he replied calmly.
"What do you mean?" he asked, his hand turning into a fist. "Why am I still here?"
"I can't bring back people who are already from the future."
