"So they just randomly held your hands that's odd" said Hermione with a confused face. You just told Hermione, Ron, Harry, and Ginny what happened. " I know! They've never done that before. Well I mean if I tripped or fallen yes they've held my hand to help me up but nothing like that, it was strange! Maybe I'm just overthinking? Ugh I don't know!" You said as you let out a frustrated sigh and rest your head on Ginny lap like you do whenever your stressed. "Maybe they've taken a sudden liking to you y/n" said Ginny as she played with your bright purplish pink hair. " I highly doubt that gin! No way Fred and George like me!" Y/n said rather quickly. You all heard the portrait open and lifted your head to see Fred and George walk in. " hey guys hey y/n!" The two boys said in sync. " hey boys!" Y/n replied with a smile. " hey y/n can we talk to you for a minute" asked George. " yeah sure see you losers later" y/n said looking back at the group before walking out of the room into the hall. " so what's up" y/n asked curiously. " we just wanted to spend time with our favorite potter twin!" Said Fred with a smirk on his face. " but don't tell Harry" George said with the smirk. " no promises. Anyways what you wanna do?" Y/n questioned " we can go swimming in the black lake" George said look down at y/n. " I don't have a bathing suit on though George" y/n said with a duh sound. " we can go back and change then meet up we can invite the others too" fred said also look down at the girl between them. " okay sound like a plan bye boys see you in 15 minutes" y/n said walking back to the common room.
" THE WATER IS FREEZING" Ginny yelled after dipping her hand in the water. "It's not that bad gin it's only cold for little then your body will get used to it." Ron said with a know it all look. "Okay but I rather tan so I'll be over there" Ginny said pointing the a patch of grass where the sun was shining down. " have fun gin!" Y/n said taking of her dress to reveal her red and black bathing suit with an open back and sides and long sleeves

" anyone joining me?" Y/n asked the group. " we are wait for us" George said taking his shirt off. " where's fred?" Y/n asked curiously. " right here love!" Said a voice behind you. Before you could run you felt his hand on your waist lifting you in the air. " FRED PUT ME DOWN RIGHT NOW!" You yelled trying to escape his grip. " if you insist" he let go and you grabbed his hand causing him to fall in with you. " HA BACKFIRED" you yelled when you resurfaced. " yeah yeah whatever you say y/n potter" Fred said with a grin. All the sudden you felt a big splash on your back. "GEORGE THAT WAS COLD!!" Y/n yelled jokingly. " sorry love couldn't help it" George said while laughing. "Harry" Hermione whispered in Harry's ear so no one could harry. " did you notice they called her love too" Hermione asked confused. " yeah what's going with them" Harry asked back just as confused. " I have no idea but they're acting different to her" Hermione whispered again. "Yeah it's kind of gross. That's my sister" Harry replied jokingly before jumping in the lake. " JESUS GINNY WASN'T KIDDING THE WATER IS FREEZING" Harry yelled while everyone laughed.
On the way back Hermione stopped you and waited for everyone to be a good distance away " what's up Hermione? Everything okay?" Y/n asked. " yeah but did you notice that Fred and George called you love?" Hermione questioned with a curios look. " they did when?" Y/n said knowing she heard but acting like she didn't. " Fred said it right before he threw you in the water and George said when he was apologizing for splashing when he jumped in" Hermione explained to her friend. " i guess I didn't notice that's strange they're acting weird all the sudden maybe they're going through a phase or something I'm not worried about it though" y/n said to Hermione hoping she'd drop it. " maybe anyways let's get back to the group" Hermione answered
"Y/n for Godric sake wake up!" Hermione whisper yelled while hitting with a pillow. " fist off ow! Second off what?!" Y/n whisper yelled back annoyed that her friend woke her. " It's time for breakfast" hermitage said annoyed. "Hermione it is SATURDAY! You woke me up at 8 IN THE MORNING TO TELL ME ITS TIME FOR BREAKFAST" y/n yelled and threw her wand and Hermione. " would you stop that! Your going to break your wand y/n!!" Hermione said trying to dodge the wand y/n threw but failed and ended get hit in the face with it. " that's gonna leave a mark" y/n said through laughing. " ha ha very funny" Hermione said while throwing another pillow at her friend. " OW fine let's go" y/n said annoyed again.
" hey losers!!" Y/n said to her group of friends as she sat in between Fred and George. " there's our favorite potter twin!" The twin said in sync. " you hear that Harry I'm there favorite potter twin!!" Y/n said teasing her brother. " congratulations y/n" Harry replied sarcastically and rolling his eyes. " so boys and girls what are we doing today?" Y/n asked. " how about hogsmeade?" Ron suggested. " yes DEFFS" y/n said excitedly. " deffs really y/n" Harry asked. " I thinks it's cute she abbreviates words" George says to Harry making y/n freeze. " deffs" Fred says making everyone laugh but you. You couldn't help blush when he called it cute. " you okay there y/n" asked Fred elbowing her in the arm to get her attention. " hmm oh yeah sorry" y/n said embarrassed.
" so where you wanna go first?" Harry asked the group. " deff honeyduke" y/n answered walking to the store. Once you walked in you could smell the sweet scent of candy and chocolates. " imma go look around since I don't have any money on me I forgot my bag" y/n said walking away from her group to look around. " hey wait up" George said going after her. " everything okay you seem quite today y/n?" George asked worried. " yeah just tired I guess" y/n lied. She was thinking of how Fred and George have been acting towards her but she couldn't say that. " what do you want my treat." George said smiling down at the girl. " no I couldn't ask you do that George" y/n replied. " your not asking love. I'm telling you to get some sweets and I'll buy" George said firmly. Making you freeze again. " hey George can I ask you something" y/n said while grabbing a chocolate frog. " sure what's up" George replied. " why do you and Fred keep calling me love? Not that I mind but why?" Y/n asked. " I don't know just thought it was a cute pet name for you we can stop if you want?" George said with a small look of disappointment. " no I like it it's cute" y/n said looking and the tall red haired boy. "Okay love grab a couple more things okay" George said with a big smile. " okay thank you I'll pay you back when we get back to the castle" y/n said with the same smile. "Don't have to pay me back love" George said as he grabbed your hand and intertwined your fingers with his and grab some of your sweets with his open hand so you can get more. You couldn't help but feel happy and safe. Something about the twins made her feel safe and happy. But she couldn't explain why. Maybe it was because they were her friends.
