"ɪ ᴅᴇꜱᴘɪꜱᴇ ʏᴏᴜ."
ever since those words came out of Arlo's mouth, John thought that he would hate Arlo forever, and that they would never get along.
However, when John and Arlo are forced to work together, things begin to change between them.
"Ahem..You we're saying?" Arlo spoke, his serious tone returning.
'And just like that we're back to our usual selves..' John frowned, missing the energy from a couple seconds ago.

"Anways..She wouldn't tell me anything no matter how much I asked! What else was I supposed to do?" John groaned.
'I can think of a couple things..' thought Arlo, who was staring at John with a blank expression.
"You know, she's doing it for your own good." Arlo sighed.
"Yeah, but I don't care what happens to me!" John lowered his head in shame.
'He's always so reckless.. ̶I̶ ̶c̶a̶r̶e̶ ̶' Arlo frowned.
"After everything I've done...After all the shit I've caused...And after all the times I've hurt her..." The black haired boy paused for a second, he bit his lip.
"I owe her way to much! I'm not leaving her side again!" He continued.
"..." Arlo said nothing. He stayed quiet, the blond was clearly deep in thought.
'He feels so strongly about her..' Arlo hated the jealousy he felt in that moment.
He wasn't sure what there was to be jealous of, but the feeling made him annoyed. Was it the strong relationship Sera and John had? Even if it was Arlo would never admit that.
"...Can you say something?" Arlo snapped out of his thoughts when he heard John speak.
"I'm not sure how you want me to respond to that." He turned his head away.
"Just...Fill me in..Please." John said hesitantly.
'He doesn't know the severity of the situation at all. Sera really committed to hiding everything from him.' hethought.
As much as Arlo hated to drag John into the situation, he knew that John would stubbornly force him to. Sera was going to be pissed.
'She'll be furious at me for bringing him into this...' 'But I can't keep following her lead..'
"Seraphina received an invitation from an organization called Spectre."
"Spectre?" John raised a brow.
Arlo nodded, "They offered to return her ability in exchange for her loyalty and she accepted.".
"Hold on, that doesn't make sense! Sera's the strongest person I know!" "Why would she even bother with Spectre after getting her ability back?"
"Because it was a trap." John's gold eyes widened once he heard those words.
"You think they'd be careless enough to lose control of a powerhouse like Seraphina? Her ability recovery was only temporary." Arlo crossed his arms before stepping a little closer towards John.
