ever since those words came out of Arlo's mouth, John thought that he would hate Arlo forever, and that they would never get along.
However, when John and Arlo are forced to work together, things begin to change between them.
"What's that supposed to mean!" John quickly grabbed Arlo's arm and pulled away.
"You tell me." the blond boy replied, it was actually pretty fun to mess with John. Who knew the 'cruel' and 'violent' John would become so vulnerable from just a little bit of teasing?
John grit him teeth and turned away, "Whatever!" he huffed.

"Hey, are you guys done swimming already?" Evie walked towards the group of Safe house members sitting outside the pool.
"Nah, just taking a quick break." one of them replied.
"OH! I LOVE GHOST STORIES!" Evie exclaimed.
"Got any good ones?"
"Actually, I do-" Evie paused and turned towards John and Arlo, who were sitting a few chairs away.
"Would you guys like to join us?" the pink haired girl asked enthusiastically.
John and Arlo both turned towards her, John stared at her with a surprised expression before responding.
"Sure." he smiled.
"I'll join too." Arlo crossed his arms, John glared at him for a second before he stood up from his chair and walked towards the group.
John took once last glance at Arlo, he frowned. 'He doesn't trust me.' thought John
Arlo was really only joining them because he wanted to spend more time with John, lately he just felt so drawn to the boy. Arlo wanted to be around him all the time. He wouldn't admit that though, his excuse was that he needed to watch over John and keep him under control.
John sat on a chair near the group, Arlo sat right beside him.
John glared at Arlo, the taller male merely smirked and scooted closer.
"Alright everyone,gather around.." Evie said in a ominous voice.
"This story is about the woman who haunts room 414 of Motel Rowden."
"Motel Rowden? You just made that up on the spot!" Dylan interrupted.
"Shhh!"
"They say that's where she was strangled to death by a high-tier." Evie continued in a chilling voice.
"Most people who have stayed in 414 have reported hearing screams at night."
