You woke up with Lilia on top of you. He rolled over on top of you. His head was on your shoulder and his chest pressed against your chest. You just blinked up at the ceiling and just hit him once. A firm wack to his head. It wasn't meant to be painful or anything simply to shock him awake.

"Get off of me." You pushed him over, and watched him fall off your side of the bed. He laid there against the floor for a while, honestly it was like he wanted to be a corpse with how long he laid there.

"That was so mean." He spoke though it was muffled by the floor. It sounded more like "It's so me."

"Good morning Lilia." You poked him with your foot.

"Do you hate me?" He whined.

"No, I don't enjoy you rolling on top of me." You crouched down in front of him, "but if you want to stay in bed all day, then I'll be happy to keep little Silver all to myself for the day."

He laughed and ran to pluck Silver from his crib. "You're a monster." He rocked the sleeping boy in his arms. "I know he's the sweetest and most perfect thing but you can't have him all to yourself!"

You nodded and pulled yourself from the warm blankets. "He is cute."

You had a fitting today, that's what Lilia had told you yesterday. You hated not knowing why you needed one but it wasn't worth the fight. Lilia was swept away by work before you could pull a reason out of him. Little Silver kept you company though. He sat outside in the garden as you wrote away. Trying to knead out the snags in the story.

He had plucked a few flower buds and leaves off the plants and waddled up to your chair. You felt the little tug on your clothes and looked down to find him holding out a handful of crushed flowers and leaves.

"You!" He squawked, bouncing up and down. His feet never left the ground.

"I love it sweetie." You were nearly in tears and pressed a kiss against his head.

"Sory?" He climbed up into your lap then and listened to you read him the rough draft, though it was still not right.

The sweet boy had been running around like crazy. He was so unbalanced that every maid that saw him running had to help him catch his footing. He ran around the halls infront of you and Lilia. He never lost sight of you and would frequently glance over his shoulder to make sure you were there. He circled back, waddling to your sides. When he turned too fast and bumped into a maid he stuck to your legs for the rest of the walk.

Little Silver stared up at you as a maid and a tailor handed each other suits and dresses back and forth. Silver's eyes watched the skirts wave and sway as they got passed around. They pressed the measuring tape around your waist and hips. They scribbled down numbers and notes. Then stuffed you into outfits you could only dream of wearing, some of those dreams being nightmares. Why did that bodice itch so much?

They gave you a form-fitting suit. A tailcoat and an extremely detailed pocket watch. The corset was something you had never worn and you needed a moment to remind yourself to breathe. When they stuffed you in a big dress against your will and Silver ended up crawling under the skirts. He sat by your feet and played with the hems of the skirt. Lilia was laughing his head off when they found the little boy underneath. Silver got lost in the clothing racks. He came out and pulled you over in between changes.

"Looky!" he pointed to the racks.

"Show me which one you like." You rubbed his head and stepped towards the rack.

He dived back in. The clothes rustled against each other, but Silver was gentle with the garments. He squawked, calling for you.

"It!"
