Physicsclass was over. Izzy and Claire were waiting for me at my locker. I smiled tomyself, crazy how it can seem so intimidating having someone wait for you thatyou fill up your mind with all the possibilities of what they could have beenmad or hate you for but genuinely just want to see you. "Hey Grey," Cleo wasthere as well. I did not see her. I smiled at them. "Hey what's up?" I wonderedif they needed anything from me or were just stalling going to P.E. God thatclass is horrid, running in front of people, getting embarrassed when you feellike you could not measure up to what others could do. "Nothing much, want toditch P. E?" Izzy asked. She was always wanting to skip, but this time I wantedto. I did not want to go to P.E today. "Sure, why not" I shrugged. What isWhatis the worst that could happen? There's a lot of things that have happened thatI wish I could forget. Claire drove us to our usual spot at the In n' Out justa few blocks down. James came with us; supposably Izzy "accidentally" said thatwe were skipping and was talking to him. Bullshit. We got our food and sat downat a corner table away from everyone. There's barely anyone here for it being11:34. "You guys come here often?" James asked, looking at me. I was about toanswer, but Izzy decided to be a flirt and bat her eyes at him and answer."Yeah, we come here often," she smiled. I rolled my eyes. Of course, she likeshim, every girl does. He smiled at her. Oh joy, another fan fucking tasticcouple. I want to barf just from the thought of it. I brushed it off, trying not to think about it and ate my fries, talking to Claire about the plantonight. "Yeah, I'll be there, but can Ollie come? I know you guys are likesecretly hating each other, but please? for me?" I groaned. "Fine, but if hesays one thing that ticks me off, he's gone, okay?" she smiled. "Deal" Ienjoyed seeing her happy. It makes me feel happy that I enjoyedseeing her happy. It makes me feel happy that I did something right for once.
