Sometimes, they'd be a whole mass of limbs tangled in sheets.

Bare kisses were exchanged. That Friday night, both Wes and Nora had decided to snag tickets for a musical, tagging along Imogen. "We can learn about acting and staging," she suggested.

However, the siblings left the Penn residence for a whole different reason. Friday night was seldom naughty — in Ellie's dictionary. When shed find time off between studying & criticizing,  researching on funds for Westerly's channel & giving Normani a hard time for her lack of manners — she'd announce, face devoid of indication, "Kai? Wanna study this evening?"

He was a clever boy himself. He smiled so heartily. Every time. Once its four, she arranged for fruit salad custard for the two. As they leafed through the texts, Ellie took her chances at touching him "accidentally" until he put the books away, tugged their bodies close, and the rest was all wintry magic.

Cold fingers caressed colder ones. Eleanor Penn sat in his lap — her sundae glass filled to the quarter with guava choices and cream, somewhat so tensed she didn't sigh when he bit the slender neckline of hers. Off coat, him bare back, suddenly Kai brought his lips to halt. Bed creaked.

"Are you not in the mood?"

She cocked her head but only to kiss him fast upon the jawline.

Gazes levelled, she spoke alluringly. "What gives?"

"You seem tensed." Kiss, kiss. "Want me to make you forget things? I'm very good."

Gosh. Excitement crawled beneath her toes and made it curl as Kaisei Seon teasingly hummed with every small kiss.

"You aren't mad about Ange's audacity, are you?"

          She did appear upset.

"What do you mean?" Said Ellie. "Anything I may wanna know?"

Kai recognised the change in atmosphere. Immediately, he recoiled. Thinking back, Ellie never promised that if they become royalty — things between them would be easier. Now that she held back, commandingly, he resisted the urge to groan. "You never miss anything."

Kai ran a hand through midnight black tuft as he spoke, "She's the type to keep things to herself because she's too insecure to let anyone in. The other day, I saw her reading weird gay comic. That's it... And oh, she's moody."

             "Anything more?"

"She," Kai paused to think it over, "hates being seen. Not a spotlight lover."

Why was Eleanor Penn developing a sudden interest in a mere loner was beyond him. She was less interested in getting to know Imogen Serum, potential royal candidate, whom Wes adores so much.

Everyone has quirks. Kai's girlfriend was no different.

Earlier that day — Bimpe was mooning.

She asked for a set of hands — random volunteers to help her with speakers & screen projector. Imogen and Venice were the ones most excited. One might speculate that they already knew what was coming.

Unlike his mates, Kai was seated in the back row, which proved to be a good choice because Bimpe's enthusiastic energy was infectious, people were beaming and shouting and sitting like they were about to fly off to the moon.
