Chapter Summary:
"Hand me your timetable.""Eh...?"

They were panting outside, in the corridor, by the wall next to the door of the classroom. Both of them with their hands dropped to their knees. Kazuha pierced the other's eyes with his crimson coloured orbs. "Did you offer to help me without knowing whether or not I was in your classes? That's so nice," He let out a breathy laugh. Gasping for air as he did so. His young 8-year-old body shook as he did.

The boy had absolutely paid no mind to the entire lesson. His gaze flickered to the clock, he had done so once in a while during the class, he had noticed that the clock's long hand was nearing the big 'XII' at the very top. He simply sighed. Why couldn't the lesson go by any faster? The chick from before had lost its appeal around 15 minutes ago.He let out a breath and just looked back into the class from staring out of the window. His gaze landed on the white-haired boy. He was paying attention to class and scribbling notes down as fast as his small hands would allow him to. He wrote as if it were his lifeline. 'What a weird kid...' Kunikuzushi pondered as his eyes scanned the room yet again landing on the pristine, white, wall clock. He held his breath smiled as he saw the exact moment the long hand landed on 'XII'.
It took him a moment more before he let it out. When he did, he had noticed that many from his class had already begun dashing out of the classroom. A little while later, he had noticed that it was just him and Kaedehara left in the classroom. The poor boy was turning his schedule over and over seemingly attempting to decipher something. "Where are these rooms even..." Kunikuzushi heard coming out of the smaller boy's mouth.
He tapped the smaller boy's shoulders. "..." He starred at Kaedehara. "I can help you if you'd like," the boy had offered.
Kaedehara looked like he was about to reject the offer. He opened his mouth before closing it shut again. His eyes shut as he reflected over it a little more. "Hmm..." He began at last. "If it isn't too much of a bother... sure..." his small voice let out.
Without thinking, Kunikuzushi took the boy's wrist in his hand and began to drag him. That was until the boy stumbled into him. He looked at him raising a brow. He wouldn't have fallen if he had been following him. "What?" He asked the white-haired boy annoyed. The boy only gestured towards his table. Confused, Kunikuzushi opened his mouth to speak again just to be interrupted by the Kaedehara.
"My things," Kazuha had stated simply. He did not know how or why it would be hard for someone to understand his hand gestures. He did, however, see how the other's face lit up in understanding.
"Ah..." was the sound that the boy made when he had opened his mouth. Taking that as a sign, Kazuha went back to his table and quickly stuffed all his things into his bag not wanting to make the boy who offered him help wait for so long. Once he did so, he ran back to the boy before being dragged off.
"Hand me your timetable."
"Eh...?"
Without waiting for the boy, Kunikuzushi took the timetable off his hands to see that they had all the same classes. Sighing in relief, he handed the schedule back to the albino. He then proceeded to run through the halls to their next class with the albino's wrist still in his hand as the smaller boy stumbled, struggling to keep up with him.
Kunikuzushi huffed. What did he know? Nothing. He was new. He hadn't intended to do it on purpose. He definitely didn't!
"Hey, what's your name?"
"Later."
Kazuha was then dragged to the classroom door. He watched as the other boy knocked on the door of the classroom. The two then stood there in silence, waiting for the teacher's approval for them to make their way into the classroom.
The class went past smooth as any other. Soon, the bell could be heard ringing yet again. This went on for another few hours until 12 pm. Lunch.
Overwhelmed by the sheer number of people in the hallway, Kazuha stood silent and unmoving smack in the middle of the entire crowd of rowdy students. He had lost the nice boy a little after class ended. The boy stared into nothingness as everyone brushed past him, making their way to the cafeteria. It was only until 10 minutes had passed that the crowd began thinning out.
"Hey, what are you doing staring at nothing like a wide-eyed idiot?" Kazuha heard a voice coming from behind him. He froze. Not that he wasn't already frozen before it's just that now his posture was nothing short of perfect. The words had sounded unfriendly and he hadn't registered at all who the voice that said it to him belonged to. However, after a short while of silence, Kazuha was able to recognise that he knew this voice. It took a little longer for him to pinpoint who it was though. Though, when he did figure it out, he relaxed his shoulders letting them drop.
Kazuha turned around and tilted his head to one side. "pardon?" He then watched the other boy face palm before yet again grasping his wrist and dragging him to the lunch hall.
Kazuha got plopped into a seat next to the nice boy.
"Scara, who's he?"
Kazuha tilted his head at what the ginger had called the nice boy. Scara... was that his name...? It was pretty. He got lost in his thoughts a little before being brought back to reality upon hearing his own name.
