"It was Sato Daisuke!" Haruka had immediately yelled out. Everyone shifted their attention towards Sato. Déjà vu. Sato's expression dropped immediately. His eyes widened and his mouth was left to hang slightly.
"Wait... how do you know?" Sato's voice was shaky. I don't blame him. This was the second time he had been accused of murder.
"The odds are stacked against you, dude." Moto said, "The weapon, where the body was found, this case really does revolver-round you!" Moto laughed at her joke.
"Las probabilidades están en tu contra amiga." Jimenez said.
"C'mon guys. Let's not point fingers. This is the second time he's been accused of murder. Why would he commit a crime when he already looks suspicious." Fujiyoshi reasoned. It wasn't a split argued but Sato and Furukawa seemed to be going along with it.
"I agree. I doubt Sato would commit any crime in general. He's more than a kind soul." Sato smiled at the two people defending him.
"That's not enough evidence." Chifuyu argued, "someone isn't automatically innocent just because you think they're a good person." Both sides made valid arguments. Though, Chifuyu's leaned towards the more realistic side of things.
"Shouldn't we go over the evidence first?" I suggested.
"What more evidence do we need? There was a gun at the crime scene, we saw Sato heading towards the locker rooms, and there were muddy footprints leading to the outside of his window." Haruka said. He was right. All the odds were stacked against Sato.
"Hold on there!" Sato yelled out. Haruka turned to face the guy. Nothing but disgust was on Haruka's face.
"What kind of gun?" Sato asked. He looked away from Haruka. Probably too intimidated to look him in the eyes.
"You already know what fun it is-"
"It was an AR-15!" Tachibana interrupted Haruka.
"Seriously?" Sato looked bewildered hearing the name. His eyes widened and he cock an eyebrow at the boy with purple eyes.
"Yeah.. is something wrong, Sato?" I asked him.
Sato scratched the back of his neck. A bit hesitant to say anything. "Well, I was with Fukumoto in the locker room earlier and she said it was a blow to the head. Now, is it was a pistol or some kind of hand gun that would've made sense." Sato explained, "However it was a blow to the head which doesn't make sense for that kind of rifle. Using it as a blunt object makes perfect sense. Except there are certain ways to use a gun, especially one with a butt stock as a blunt object."
"The hell are you talking about?" Haruka snapped. I myself didn't understand what Sato was talking about. I wasn't an expert when it came to guns so I, along with others, needed a simpler explanation.
"Well, when you hold a rifle or any gun with a butt stock in that situation you hold it like.. a pole." Sato tried to gesture the way you would hold a gun. "Um...hey Monosara?"
"What is it kid?" The money barked back.
"I was wondering if we could see the weapon in court. Y'know, as a piece of evidence or something. I can't really explain like this." Sato let out an awkward chuckle. Monosara complied and pulled out a replica of the gun seemingly out of no where. Which Sato took.
"Can I have a volunteer?" Sato looked around. Fujiyoshi was the first to skip over to the man. The two stood in the same stand. "Now watch closely."
Sato held the gun like a bat. The butt stock on the gun facing downwards and his hands held on tightly to the thinner parts of the gun. He was a bit hesitant. Practicing a few small swings. Suddenly he stepped forwards and struck the gun towards Fujiyoshi's left cheek.
