He married the witch drow 'Higr' to strengthen his grip to the throne. As witches were considered adversaries to every other races, this notion became a pretend peace treaty. Everyone believed his mischievous campaign towards 'peace'. The Elves, dwarves and Fairies supported this treaty, they thought that living in harmony is but achievable. Everyone believed his mischievous campaign towards 'peace', but little did they know that behind all that greatness and peace keeping façade was an appalling tyrant and cruel dictator.
Immediately after, under king Lheirt's ruling, all races rescinding in Drekush we're imprisoned and was forced to do labor. Others who opposed was publicly executed and decorated the roads with their blood and heads on the spikes.
Being the strongest race there is, drows are unpredictable and cunning they would eradicate anyone who's on their path to world domination. As they have advanced on their equipment and technology, King Lheirts specifically instructed his constructors to build efficient war machines. His barristers advised him to make enormous catapults and siege engines and redirect it towards the faes, their neighboring community. The king listened and did just what his trusted advisors counseled him.
Having a massive, highly trained drow army behind, and in alliance with witches, warlocks, Ogres, goblins, sirens and giants. He waged war against the fairies, conquering the land of great land Raiun, a land which was once a cheerful and magical place. A mystical woodland lit at night by the positive presence of the moon and glowing insects, inhabited by gentle animals and majestic birds. Free and safe, or so they thought.

Half of the fairies' population was wiped out due to the attack the drow king have conveyed. The remaining wounded casualties flee to another plane, a plane not in existence in the world of Tairiad.
Taking Raiun was but made easy, the king did not find the invincibility he was seeking, so he wanted a more challenging battle. They tried to take Ifraihl, the land of the elves. Little did they know that by this time, the elves and its allies have prepared to counter the attack.
Drow's numbers were drastically depleted in a short matter of time, with the remaining troops and their allies, they were forced back to hide in their caves and lick their wounds. This defeat did not humble the drow king, in truth, he took this as a lesson and it made him more furious.
From there on, walls have been built dividing the world of Tairiad in two. The elves and its allies on the other side are in constant fear and with their watchful eyes against the next drow strike.
