Stepping onto the platform, Sly glanced at Ron before sighing heavily and walking onto the train.
“Hey, heads up, Sly, he can’t stay mad at you forever,” Fred joked, shaking Sly’s shoulders.
“Yeah, unlike you, Ron is mortal,” George added with a snicker.
‘That might just mean he will hate me in his death instead,’ Sly wrote in the sky, the soft yellow standing out against the dark brown wood.
“Now, that is a different problem.” Fred shook his head, glancing at the small family member. “You going to be okay?”
Nodding, Sly gripped his back tighter, smiling softly. ‘Yeah. I’m just going to find the others. Goodbye Fred, George.’
The twins stayed watching Sly run away, sharing a worried look, they made a silent promise to check on him later.

Sighing, Sly lowered his head, trying to block out the noise around him. He didn’t want to hear them whispering about him. He didn’t want to hear it- even if they weren’t talking about him.
“Sly!” Jumping over, Kevin grinned, wrapping an arm around Sly’s shoulders. “Morning!” He grinned happily, a bright aura around him. “How have you been? How was your summer? Did you remember to eat properly?”
“Come on Kev, leave him alone.” Wayne sighed as he grabbed Kevin, pulling him away. “Πρωί, Sly.”
Sly stepped back, glancing between his friends. Kevin seems to have finally hit his growth spurt but he was still significantly shorter than Wayne. Kevin’s hair was darker now too, looking more brown than blond these days though it was still a lot lighter than Wayne’s pitch-black hair.
Kevin huffed, crossing his arms across his chest. “So rude, Wayne. Let’s just get to the others before Roger begins worrying that something happened.”
Wayne raised his eyebrow in amusement, leaning close to Sly so he could whisper without Kevin hearing him. “More he was worried as he left specifically to find us.”
Sly chuckled at the familiar routine, following Kevin to the compartment. Justin and Roger were already waiting for them.
“Morning,” they greeted together. Roger smiled, shuffling close to the window so that Sly could sit next to him while Justin groaned and attempted to keep his seat from the invading forces.
‘Morning,’ Sly wrote back, glancing at Justin, biting his tongue slightly to stop himself from laughing.
Neither he nor Roger could hold it back as Wayne picked Justin up and placed him on the floor. Scowling, Justin sat on the opposing seat, next to Sly.
Similarly to Kevin and Wayne, Roger and Justin had changed. Unlike Kevin, Roger’s blond hair had gotten lighter, almost thinner. He looked sicker too, tiny just like Sly though he had gained a few centimetres on the dead boy. Justin had also gotten taller though he was pretty much in the middle of the group.
The air in the carriage staged light, each person recalling what had happened over the summer. Kevin spoke excitedly about how his sister was coming to the school and Wayne went on about the quidditch trials, excited to finally be allowed to play.
Roger rested his head against Sly’s shoulder, curling against his side. Sly glanced at him in worry, he mentally checked over him, making sure he was hurt. He wished he could help Roger but even after all the years the group had been together, none of them could do anything.
Roger lived in the muggle world and that had different roles. Settling back, Sly reluctantly settled for being there for his friend, closing his eyes softly.
