Chapter 11

- Madison's POV -

" hey guys? " Newt says walking
Up, mainly glaring at Thomas. I understand why.. But I still don't think we should tell Thomas.. Maybe because I like Thomas? I don't know..

" well I better get going, I run tomorrow. Catch you guys later " Thomas said jogging to the homestead.

Me and Newt just looked at each other a little while until he finally said something.

" We ever going to tell him? I don't like when boys kiss you not knowing your dating someone. " Newt said to me and all I did was smirk.

" What? " He said with a confused look.

" Your jealous " I say smirking.

" maybe I am. " He says hugging me. I can see Chuck from a distance with Thomas, Chuck sees us but not Thomas and that's good.. But newt wants him to know? UGH. It's so confusing. Who do I like?

- Newt's POV -

" listen, I really have to go " Madison said running in the woods.

I walk back and sit with Thomas and Chuck.

" there's a problem " I tell them.

They looked at me weird.

" Madison ran back in the woods? " I say confused.

" I'll find her, I know why. " Chuck said walking towards to woods.

- chucks POV -

I see Madison leaning against a tree.

" Madison.. " I start talking to her.

" Chuck, can you tell Thomas, Minho and newt something for me? " Madison tells me.

" Sure? " I say to her.

" just tell them I want a break. As in.. I want to be there friends but I want to start talking to other people.. Just to relax.. " Madison says to me, and I'm shocked.

" I really don't want to be the one who delivers that message but okay " I say walking back to them, seeing Minho there too.

" Madison wants a break from us.. She's gonna start hanging out with other people.. She just wants to relax " I say to them and they all have shocked faces.

- the next day -

- Thomas POV -

I see Madison.. I really want to talk to her but I can't.. Why did she decide this?

I walk up to Chuck, Newt and Minho. They all looking at Madison too.

" you guys want to talk to her as much as me? " I ask them and they all nod there head.

Next thing I know Madison is running and jumping on somebody. I think it's the new greenie. But we didn't really get to see the greenie come but it looks like Madison is close with him..

- Madison's POV -

" You a good fighter greenie? " I say laughing at him

Then next thing I know he is pinning me on the ground, " wow that back fired on me " I say laughing. Then he helps me up.

" your such a gentleman " I say to him.

" I try " he said scratching the back of his head.

" why be so awkward? " I say walking towards him.

" Ugh um " he replies.

" Does that make you more awkward? " I say laughing.

He just replies with a laugh.

" so do how fast can you run?" I ask him.

" I don't know but I'm not being a runner " he says laughing and I agree.

" wanna race? " he asked smirking and I obviously say yes.

" race to the tree over there? " he asked me and I nod before realizing I have to run past Newt, Minho, Thomas and Chuck. I know Minho and Thomas are gonna start running soon, so.

" go! " I yell and we both run and were right beside each other.

" wow greenie " I say to him and he laughs. I am about to run past them and there all looking at me when I do.

We hit the tree and it's a tie. " how fast can you run with me on your back? " I ask him and he smirks and I jump on his back and he tries running, he didn't go very fast but faster then most people.

I put my head on his shoulder telling him to run faster and then I realized he flips so I am in his arms.

" Hi " i say laughing before jumping out of his hands, realizing right in front of newt. Thomas Minho and Chuck..

" so what do you wanna do? " he asked me.

" well alby wants to talk to you, so I'll wait here " I say smiling at him and he nods and I should of picked a different spot to wait.

I look back at them, I just say hi but none of them wanting to answer so I walk towards Alby and the greenie.

" hey Madison perfect, you can show him around " Alby says walking around.

" so what do I have to show you? " I ask him.

" he said runners, the other leader when he isn't around and the other jobs " he says and I'll I am thinking is oh great. So we head over to Thomas and Minho and Newt.

" so greenie that's Thomas and Minho they are runners and that's Newt the other leader. " I say keeping my head down.

" you shy or something maddy? " the greenie says and I just laugh.

" hey " Minho says.

" you going to be a runner ? " Thomas asked and he shakes his head.

" Thinking about being a farmer " he says looking at me smiling and I just smile back and all I see is Newt glaring at him.

" well let's go and I'll show you around " I say and we walk away.

- Newt's POV-

Minho and Thomas went out running so I went to talk to Chuck, he is the only one that knows.

" hey Chuck " I say to him and he looks and me and shakes his head.

" your jealous aren't you? You want Madison to start talking to us again. " Chuck says shaking his head and laughing.

" you see the way he looks at her! " I say to Chuck and he just nods.

" yes but Madison is still DATING you. You guys never broke up. " Chuck says to me.

" I have a feeling that theory isn't going to last long " I say to Chuck and he looks at me confused.
