Chapter Seven

- Newt's POV -

Me and Madison were kissing, It felt perfect. After a couple seconds we pulled away and looked at each other and she was blushing. Wow.. she so cute..

" We should probably head back and go to bed " I say very awkwardly.

" Yeah.. your right " She said to me getting up. I get up after her and we walk back in silence.

" Madison! " I kept hearing somebody yell and then I see Thomas come up and hug her.

Honestly, I felt a bit mad and jealous..

" Are you okay? Why did you run off? " Thomas kept asking her questions and then he stopped talking.

" I'm fine.. Just needed a break from everyone.. " She said very awkwardly hoping Thomas didn't see us kiss. I was really hoping he didn't. The first time didn't go so well.

" Well we should all just go to bed " Madison said and we all started heading to go to bed.

- The next day-

The alarm for the greenie was going off but it shouldn't be. We just got one.. We shouldn't be getting another one. Me and Alby and Thomas ran to the box with a whole bunch of other gladers.

Madison wasn't there yet, Chuck was getting her up.

Then I heard Madison scream and I just ran to the homestead to see her soacked with water.

" Chuck! " She screamed.

" Sorry you wouldn't get up! " Chuck said trying not to laugh.

But Thomas came up beside me and he looked suprised.

" well umm. You can have fun with that and I am going to go wait for the new greenie " Thomas said and left.

" Chuck, what did you do " I said trying to act serious.

" She wouldn't get up so I threw water on her and I guess she didn't like that idea " Chuck said then he tried to hold his laugh in and left.

" You going to be okay mads? " I asked her.

" No.. I don't have any clothes to change in to so.. can I borrow a shirt and some pants? " She said to me awkwardly.

" Oh um sure.. " I said going over grabbing some and passing it to her.

" Thanks " She said and left the homestead.

I just awkwardly walked over to the box and stood with Alby, Chuck, Mihno and Thomas waiting for the box to come up. All the other gladers got tired of waiting and they went back to there jobs. Witch it good.

Madison came up and stood beside me and the box finally got to the top.

Thomas and Mihno lifted the doors and there was a guy in there.

The guy stood up and just looked at us. Alby finally spoke.

" Welcome to the glade greenie " Alby said.

" Glade? Greenie? Whats going on! " he said but we just helped him out and he looked at Alby then Mihno then Thomas then me and then he kept staring at Madison.

" Do you have a problem? " Madison finally spoke and I could hear Chuck laughing at the side.

" No.. yes.. I don't know. what are you the only girl? " He asked.

" yes. " Madison answered quickly and rolled her eyes.

" Well then we should hang out sometime " he said and winked then he went back to talking to Alby.

I was stunned he said that.

It looked like she was too.

She turned to me. " I don't think I like this guy very much.. " She said to me.

" Same. He kinda looks like a shank. " Chuck spoke.

" Yeah.. " I said.

- TIme skip -

It was at the bonfire and I was hanging out with Madison and the new greenie came over.

" Hey there " he said looking at Madison.

" Whats your name? " He finally asked her.

" Madison.. remember yours? " She asked him.

" Yeah its Justin " he said.

" well Justin let me get this clear, I know I won't like you. I can already tell I will hate you so I would appreciate you not talking to me " Madison said and I was really suprised she said that to him.. like whoaa.

He grabbed her hips and pulled her close to him " We will see " and I got angry at that point and then I  could fell my fist against his face. I knocked him the the ground away from Madison. I could tell Madison was on the ferge of tears before I did that..

But what have I done.. I broke the number one rule..

And all the gladers were staring at me and I could feel Madisons hand slip into mine.
