Azaan's Pov.
Love is just a game to some people but to others it's life.
The day I met her was the best day that I have ever had apart from the day Baba married Mamma.
She became my everything but to her, I was just a puppet. The friendship between Fahd and I had crashed because of her.
Faryal.
The girl I thought would be my wife and the mother of my children In shaa Allah. But I was wrong.
She betrayed me in the worst way possible. By pinning two best friends together.
Fahd and I have been best friends for a long time even before we both met her.
I was in love with her but she played with my heart making my heart turn to stone without any type of feelings towards any girl.
Love doesn't exist in my life because she taught me only heartache. The same heartache that she inflicted on me.
Here I am at her wedding with my former best friend Fahd. I had to attend because of our fathers.
They grew up together and also went through a lot together.
I watched as they both signed their Nikkah papers while smiling. I knew deep in her heart that she was also playing with Fahd.
Allah knows best.
That's what Mamma says to me. And she is right.
If people don't want to listen to you, let them be deaf so that they can learn from the world.
"My prince, are you alright?", mamma asks me.
I know that she has been worried about me but I can't tell her what Faryal did to me.
She played with my feelings for her just so that she could get close to Fahd.
"I am fine, mamma. Alhamdullilah", I tell her giving her a fake smile.
She just smiles at me knowing that I am lying to her. My mother always told us that if we ever had a problem to go to her so that she could try and help us out.
"I am here, if you want to talk about it, my prince", she says to me.
"I know that mamma and thank you".
I couldn't tell her that the friendship that Fahd and I had was gone because of one person.
And that is Faryal.
I couldn't keep being friends with him because I knew that he couldn't trust me as much as he trusted her
Saira's pov.
What would you do if someone you love is hurt by the person that they love?
I wish that I could run to him and hug him to tell him that I am here for him but he only sees me as his sister's best friend.
Because of her, he had turned into a cold-hearted person unlike what he was like before.
I have fallen in love with Azaan but he will never see me the way he saw her.
Iman and I decided to tell her parents about her relationship with Azlan.
He is a guy from college. His parents want to talk to Iman's parents so that they can get them married as soon as possible.
I turned to face Iman who was so nervous about telling her parents about Azlan.
"I am here, bestie. Are you ready?", I say to her. She nods and takes my hand.
We then walked to where Aunt Hayat and Uncle Aayan were sitting.
Iman decided that it was better to tell them at Fahd's Nikkah because she knew that her mother would soften her father's mood.
"Mamma, baba can I talk to you?", Iman asks her parents who nod and ask her to take a seat beside them.
I wanted to walk away when Iman held my hand back and asked me to stay with her.
"I met someone from college and we want to get marry. His name is Azlan and his parents wants to meet you", Iman explained to them.
I didn't know that her brother was listening to the entire conversation.
"And Saira can tell you that Azlan is a good guy", Iman says to them.
This statement would bring Azaan and me closer but not the way I want.
I could see Iman's face turn to worry when her parents didn't say anything.
Then Aunt Hayat smiled at us.
"Okay, Iman. You can tell Azlan and his parents to let us know the day they are free to come home. Thank you for telling us, Princess", She tells Iman smiling.
I know that her parents' approval means so much to her. They never treated her or even her brothers differently.
They knew how to be fair with them.
I could feel someone's gaze on me but I didn't dare look up to see who it was.
A few days had passed when it was time for Iman and Azlan to get engaged.
Alhamdulilah.
But what I didn't know was that someone was planning something different and I was about to get involved.
You shouldn't judge people by someone else's mistake. Because in the end, you are the one who will be more hurt.
