It's the risks that come with doing this job; getting stabbed, or shot, both, or even worse. Peter knows that very well, and so do his parents. The times Peter's come home with wounds and gashes, it sometimes gets too much for his parents. The worrying about where he is, what he's doing, if he comes home untouched, if he comes home at all... Though he does heal fast, which does make it all a tiny bit less stressful for them, it is still scary as hell seeing your son come home with blood and wounds on his body. To not worry his parents too much, he's kind of become a master at hiding his injuries. It often works, but sometimes it's just too bad to be able to hide. His mom then makes him go to the med wing to get checked out and stitched up and he always gets better in no time.

Tonight, though, it's a different story. It began as an average bank heist that Peter's dealt with many times before, but it's ended with blood. Lots of blood. He did however make sure that the criminals didn't get away, by webbing them up and calling the police to take them away. When he finally hobbled out of the bank, leaving a trail of blood in doing so, he felt his body giving up.

Peter looks around, helplessly. He can't go home like this, it's too far away, he can't call his dad to come get him because he'd freak out, he can't stay here outside the bank either of course... So where can he go? He stumbles through the streets for a little while, when he finally recognizes one of the buildings. He doesn't have much choice, it's either this or calling his dad. It's a big risk, but right now he's willing to take it. With his last bit of strength he makes his way over to the building, then climbing up the wall to a window on the fifth floor. He's been here before, once, to work on a school project. Though, he did use the front door then of course. And it wasn't in the middle of the night. Or totally unannounced... in his Spiderman suit. This is a bad idea, his dad would definitely have told him not to do it, but he's doing it anyway.

When he reaches the window, he pulls off his mask, feeling a bit easier as the cold wind blows over his face. He knocks on the window, not too loud, afraid he'd wake her family members as well. He doesn't hear anything for a while, which isn't too surprising as it is almost 3 am, on a school night, too. He knocks again, a bit louder this time. He won't be able to hold himself onto the wall for much longer. The weird thing is, he feels numb, but at the same time everything hurts. The seconds seem to go by ten times slower than usual, but then he finally hears something coming from inside and the curtain opens, revealing Michelle looking quite startled. She just stands there, taking him in, processing what, or rather who, she's seeing outside her window. Peter tries to smile at her, but the pain and soreness make it quite hard to do so. Michelle finally opens her window. "What the-..."

"MJ, I'm so sorry, but I- I didn't have anywhere else to go and I saw your house so I thought-"

"Stop babbling and get your ass inside, Parker," she says, almost pulling him inside.

Peter tries his best to get inside with the last remainder of his energy and Michelle's help, but almost knocks over a lamp in the act.

"Oh my God, what the hell happened to you?" Michelle asks concerned when she notices how badly he's actually injured and then making him sit down in her armchair.

"Uh, I think I got stabbed and shot a few times, got beaten up by several guys, plus I also fell three stories down onto one of the desks at some point," he says, pressing his hand onto a wound on his stomach. "But they are all taken care of now."

Michelle immediately hurries out of her room, to the bathroom to get a first aid kit. She's had her suspicions about Peter and the possible secret identity but now it is finally confirmed. Her intuition rarely betrays her, so although she didn't think she'd get him to confess this easily, it was great reassurance for herself. When she walks back into her room, she sees Peter almost falling asleep in the armchair. She rushes over to him, to grab his face so he'd stay conscious. "Peter, please stay awake. We need to take care of those wounds, alright?"
