Your pov

I sit in the back of the airship, hunched over with my head down and my hands folded infront of me. Kyo sat next to me in his human form, neither me nor Weiss have a said a word since we left winter. Right now we're looking Oscar, but seeing us like this, the others have grown worried for us.

Kyo-ten:*putting a hand on my back*"you ok boss"

Me:"...its, its been a while since you called me that"

Kyo-ten:"its been a while since you talked"

Me:"...*ruffles his hair and stands up*im fine, just worried about the future, ill be fine"

I walk over to the cockpit, as I do I look over my shoulder to see kyo sigh and lower his head. I understand what he was trying to do, he was trying to cheer me up, but he shouldn't need to, hes just a kid.

Me:*walking up to ruby*"did you find him yet"

Ruby:"no...how's weiss"

Me:*looking back at her to see kyo walking up to her*"kyos got her"

Ruby:"and you"

Me:"ill be fine"

Ruby:"not what I meant"

Me:"hm?"

Ruby:*looking to me*"she needs you y/n, her only family just left her, you're all she has left now"

Me:"no I'm not, she has you, kyo, I know my impact on her, but don't count yourself out"

Ruby:"not what I meant again y/n"

Me:"please explain then"

Ruby:"till death do you two part, you made a promise to be with her in her darkest times, yet here you are talking to me instead of comforting her"

I look back at Weiss to see kyo in her lap and the two were hugging like the other might dissappear if they let go.

Me:"...*sigh*let me know if you see him"

She nods as I walk over to the two and sit down next to them and wrap them in a hug, I feel Weiss shoulders shake in the hug.

Me:*rubbing her back*"its ok Weiss, things will get better, I promise, I'm going to make sure of it"

I stayed there and held them, Weiss crying into my shoulder, kyo tried to be strong, but the stress of everything finally got to him as he started to cry as well. As the airship continued to fly i held my family as close to me as possible. I hope we find Oscar soon, but for now, my family has my attention.

3rd pov

Oscar and numerous Faunus are gathered in the slums in the crater beneath Atlas, using blankets and Schnee Dust Company crates as seats. An older man with furry clawed hands steps out of a small home made from corrugated metal and thrusts a bowl of something at Oscar, who looks confused. The man gives an encouraging nod, and Oscar takes a sip from the bowl.

Oscar:"Thank you."

Oscar hands the bowl back, and the man gives a nod and a grunt in response before walking away.

Ozpin:*in Oscar's mind*"Heads up."

A small Atlas airship flies overhead, and the Faunus flee the area. Oscar picks up The Long Memory and stands up, watching the ship with suspicion. The side door slides open to reveal Ruby, who waves.

Ruby:"Need a lift?"

Oscar relaxes, and is soon after inside the ship with Ruby, Weiss, y/n, kyo, and Maria as it flies over Mantle.
