The morning sun had barely peaked out from the night's darkness and Kang was already up, planning his day. At 7am, he rushed out the door and started his day. He made it to his office and his assistant was already waiting for him with coffee and his schedule for the day.

"Sir, your first meeting is with the African investors. They sent over one representative and she'll be overseeing everything on their behalf. She's already in the boardroom." She said.

Kang simply nodded and took the file from her hands and made a steady walk to the big ivory double doors at the end of the long hallway. He pushed them open and his eyes immediately caught those of the young woman sitting right at the end of the table.

"Mr Choi." She stood up. "It's a pleasure to meet you. My apologies for being too early it's just that my flight landed and I immediately came from the airport."

They shook hands, Kang careful to have too tight of a grip. Her hands were awfully cold.
"That's alright, Miss Morgan. I appreciate your dedication and diligence. Shall we sit?"

"Yes, thank you and you can call me Nia."

"Will do. Shall I turn the air conditioning down?" Kang asked.

Nia shook her head. "Oh no, there's no need." She smiled.

They sat and discussed mergers and acquisitions. Kang has always wanted to bring Yantra Motors to Africa and as it was the second largest, it was also the poorest. He wanted to make sure that Yantra was sold to Africa at the lowest cost but at a large scale. While this wasn't the best decision he had ever made, it was his way of playing a role in ensuring that third world countries caught up with first world countries.

Many investors frowned upon this decision but Kang wasn't doing it for the sake of making a profit but rather to see whether other major corporations would follow suit but he didn't have any high expectations. In the modern world, the poor are often times pushed to the side and Kang wanted to make it his mission to change that.

He had been alive long enough to see the turmoil caused by poverty and famine and through the years, the rich got richer and the poor only poorer. Now that he was in a better place financially, he wanted to help where he could.

"You see Nia, there is a lot that people in Africa can do with Yantra cars. We design and manufacture the most durable cars in the world with a longer guarantee than most. We make the workhorses of cars. The people of Africa will be able to have these cars for years, get car parts at affordable prices and thus ensuring that even small businesses don't lose profit trying to fix their cars. The more they realize how good Yantra is, the more they'll want to buy." Kang said.

He sat back in his chair and waited for the woman to respond.

"I hear you but we just want to make sure that you will keep your promise. I know we still have a contract to sign and to air out all the details but as you know Mr Choi, Africa is perhaps one of the most disrespected continent. I'm sure I don't need to give you a history lesson but we want to make sure that this particular company will not give the rest of Korea a bad name." she said.

"I understand your concern and can assure you that Yantra will keep its promise. Trust in us and we'll work hand in hand." He said with a smile.

If there's one thing Kang knew how to do, it was to charm the socks of anyone. Male or female, it didn't matter. If he wanted something to go his way, he knew just what to do. They years of practice had paid off.

Nia nodded but it looked as though she needed some more convincing. She knew how the mind of a business man worked and she was not about to agree right on the spot. "Fair enough. Draw up a contract for us and I'll read through it with our people and get back to you as soon as I can." She smiled.
