"That night was the best night since we broke up." Deanna said to Kyla.

Napatitig si Kyla sa kausap.

"We literally gave our all..." Deanna continued.

And tonight I give in to the feelings

"Did you break up with her again?" Kyla asked.

"I left her a letter. Told her how I feel for her and how much I love her. I told her in the letter that I will still be there for her no matter what." Deanna explained.

"Sulat?! Ang duwag naman nun, magkasama na kayo nun diba? Eh bakit di nyo pinagusapan?" Kyla querried.

"Because I know for myself that if she wasn't asleep, I won't be able to let her go. Because every bit of me wants to be with her. But I can't so I had to hurt her, same as I was hurting myself." Deanna said as tears fell in her eyes.

Di mapaliwanag ni Kyla pero nafeel niya yung lungkot kaya niyakap na lang niya ang kaibigan.

"I hope I can do something for you guys. Pero feel ko talaga need nyo magusap." Kyla said.

"Sobrang gusto ko Ky... I just really can't get near her." Deanna said.

Tumitig si Kyla sa kanya as if searching for answers while looking into her eyes, "Look Deanns, I may not understand everything pero I think you need my help. If you can say it now, you know how to reach me anytime. It's the least that I can do for you and Jema."

Deanna smiled and mouthed, thank you.

Kyla left early. Deanna stayed for a couple more minutes before she did her prayers for Jia and drove home.

Deanna went to her company's office at Ponggay's residence. She started to go over the paper works and read through documents. She was engrossed with work that she didn't notice Ponggay entering the office.

Ponggay tapped her on the shoulders and that's the only time Deanna stopped what she was doing.

"Deanns, tanghali na. masyado ka na namang subsob sa trabaho." saway ni Ponggay.

"I'm good Pongs, just need to do this na kasi need pa ibigay sa bookkeeper," Deanna replied.

"Hep Hep! Anong problema?! I'm pretty sure something is up." Ponggay demanded.

Nagkatitigan ang magkaibigan ng ilang segundo.

"Deanns naman. If it's about your dad, sabi ko naman sayo, I can protect you from him. Tsaka you really have nothing more to give. Binenta mo na nga yung property mo sa QC diba. Wala ka na ding condo. The only property you have left yung bahay nyo ni Jema." Ponggay stated.

"And dad wants that..." Deanna said in defeat.

"Look Deanns, I know how much that means to you and alam kong umaasa ka pa din na Jema will want that someday pero if that's the only thing that your dad wants para tuluyan ka na niyang pabayaan, then just let go." Ponggay said.
