"You want me to get you some water? Juice? Soda, Ice tea?" Maurice said as he got up from the couch we both were sitting on. Lex & Carl invited us over for couples game night, to which we quickly agreed on. It had been a while since we had been out & needed the "date night".
Only thing was, was they had been in a funky mood the entire time. I'm talking tension so thick, it could put a g-string on & make some money. We played one round of Call of Duty & of course we trash talked but they were hitting below the belt with each other. I figured maybe they had been arguing & thought continuing on with the plans might help, but it wasn't. They excused themselves to the kitchen & had been in there for about 10 minutes.
"Alcohol will suffice, thank you" I joked as I rubbed over my belly. He gave me a straight face that had me hollering. "You know a small glass of wine isn't going to hurt him" I reasoned & he rolled his eyes.
"Your lips aren't wrapping around anything with alcohol in it" he said as he folded his arms, waiting for me to act right. I finally stopped laughing & caught my breath before re-focusing on him again.
"So YOU don't drink any alcohol then, cause I plan on wrapping my lips around you later" I replied with a wink & a smirk, watching him grab his crotch & biting his bottom lip.
"Shiiiit. I almost got hard. Stop playing" he responded with a big ass grin.
"I'm not playi-" I started but was cut off by the ruckus we heard coming from the kitchen. My husband knowing me, knowing I wanted to be nosey, grabbed both of my hands to lift me & we both swiftly headed towards the kitchen to see what the hell was going on.
"And you did the shit behind my back, like I wasn't going to eventually fucking find out!" Carl said as he paced around the island.
"I'm not ready! Doesn't what I fucking want matter to you?!" Lex said, slapping her hand on the same island.

"So what you want me to do huh? Wear a damn condom with my gotdamn wife?! This shit is wrong & you know it Alexis! That was my child too!" Carl replied with tears threatening & even though he was darkskin you could see him turning red. Trying to keep his anger in check but he was losing that battle.
"I was gonna tell you alright...I just...I just didn't know how to do that without you getting mad" she lied.
"Stop lying to me. Our medical insurance said this shit happened in December, like a damn week before Christmas. That was a little over a month ago. You weren't gonna tell me! Why?!" he shouted as he turned his back to her.
"Everything good in here?" Maurice asked as we made our presence known. They immediately straightened up pretending like nothing was going on.
